Vault of Glass/Crota's End
Hey, so I'm pretty new to Destiny in general (started playing my vanilla copy from last year about a week ago, and got all the expansions yesterday).
I haven't done any of the raids up to this point, and would love to find a group that might want to go through the first couple on normal, so I can at least see what they're like. I'm a Sunsinger Warlock sitting down at 239 light right now, and trying to work my way up to 280+, so I figure doing the raids might be a good idea anyway, to try and get some legendaries. I'm free literally all day tomorrow, so if anybody's interested, let me know. I'm also always down for just running the strike playlist in a fireteam, etc.

I just switched from Xbox to PS so I am severly under geared. I am down for anything. I'm off work for the next few days because of surgery so hit me up anytime and I'll run some stuff with you. The only thing I haven't done is the full Kings Fall raid, and some of the PS exclusive content.

From the heroic list, especially Varus strike, the bosses dropped an exotic from 3 coin and at least 2 legendaries from the entire strike. The thing was one of them dropped from an ad, so if you speed run with Randoms it won't drop. Average strike time is about 20 mins to do. I will post on the group wall on psn if I'm running them.

Edited by burning_cactus: 10/4/2015 11:13:54 AMIm incredibly new to destiny as well(got the TTK legendary edition) but i had my light level up to 290 in about a week by mostly doing the strike playlists. Once you can do the level 36 strikes you start getting some great gear. That said, i also still need to complete all the raids, so hook me up if youre giving it a go. Edit: i used the level 25 boost for my first character so that helped a lot to speed up the light levelling.

Laice1 is right, i would do strikes from the playlist for gear, and also work on rep for packages. finishing your quests also offer some gear thats a little useful. But anytime you see me on, if im not busy, ill help with anything. just let me know. i dont mind doing strikes with you, of any lvl. we can go do raids later on for achievement's.

I'm on tomorrow, it will be either me or my son. Going through vanguard strike list and heroic is your bet. I'll be grinding for the titan.
