Jolly holiday quest: shindig in the crucible problem
I have the Jolly holiday quest and I'm at the first part. It says I have to defeat guardians in the crucible with the last word equipped. I watched videos about people saying that you can use your special and heavy weapons and not just the last word to complete the step. But when I played a match with the last word equipped and using my shotgun It didn't give me any percentage. Then I played another match with only using the last word and I had then gotten a percentage. So do I really have to just use the last word to complete it?

This may be a hard quest, but once you understand the mechanics you can do it. The only kills that count come from 'The Last Word' or from your super. Use your special or heavy in times of need to prevent yourself being killed. When your super is charged re-equip your TLW and go on a killing spree. Rinse and repeat until you reach 100%. It may take a bit of time, but be patient.

Your percentage goes down when you die. 1% from a death 2% from a death by a headshot

Edited by Xandierious: 10/3/2015 6:52:24 PMKeep in mind that you lose 2% upon each death, and only 1% gain when scoring a kill (2% for a headshot and more percents for killing sprees/multi kills).
