• Learn to play aggressive. If you think and play faster than everyone on the other team, they won't be able to stop you.

    • Here are my tips: 1. Use your radar. Without a radar, you won't survive the shotgunning pain of the crucible. And 2. Never rush another player unless you are certain you will kill said player and NO ONE else is around.

    • I only ever play control, and even then I rely heavily on luck XD but when in a fireteam and party, it becomes easier to get more kills

    • Try to move and control the exterior of the map, while looking in toward the middle and taking advantage of people fighting there. If you aren't great with a particular type of gun, say fusion rifles for example, spend 3-4 hours doing everything you can to only use that gun type. That will logically lead to you working to control secondary ammo spawns, and it will lead to the other team having less of those (shotguns) available. Little things like that will help both your game and your team's performance.

    • Someone posted this on here and I leaned it but run underneath people when they blink shotgun on top of you. It confuses them.

    • Only real tips are learn maps, choke points, Play sale is unique to you, your reaction time is different to everyone, if I told you to equip a certain gun and play a certain way it limits your potential, Play with as many weapons as you can, find your own play style and use the abilities that fit it, Radar is important for some but having map knowledge outweighs the radar as I found in inferno, Try and get gear that compliments how you play, reload quicker arms, increased ammo for heavy feet, Ordinary crucible you can still wear whatever you wish, so experiment with blues, My Hunter in the end had max intellect and discipline, quick reload handcannon gloves, grenade hits charge melee and increased super on grenade kills, also had increased heavy boots. I always saved my super to shut down other super users, or to take back the most fought over crucible control point.

    • (I'm pretty terrible but getting better) once u feel u can stay alive between heavy spawns LMGs are soo much better than rockets Also fusion rifles + backing away = fcking up shotgun users lol

    • I sick and here's a tip, just use your sword without heavy ammo. I feel I did my best while being poorly equipped, clubbing people over the head with what looks like an empty pimp glass.

I suck at crucible. Never played too much but I've improved from about 0.5 or less! to 1~1.5 and only play for my daily marks now. My advise, as someone who suck but improved a little, would be to learn the maps slowly, and don't play aggressively until you know them. Following your teammates could help to learn that. Try a few famous different weapons until you find something you like and that fits your current style. Ex, if you're taking your distance while get used to the maps, an scout rifle would be the best choice and a secondary short range weapon like a shotgun or a side arm. And last, be aware of the heavy weapon synths spawn spot and time. You can take them and have some free kills, or ambush people who want to take it. But if you're nowhere near it, you'll be in a huge disadvantage.

        • Best advice I ever received was in every encounter play as though your primary goal is to not die and secondary goal is to win the trade.

        • I am on a small break and saw this. I can provide a link tomorrow night. My name is CoolGuy. I am a contributor for Planet Destiny. On their youtube channel, there is great content to learn from. Mtash, true vanguard, Patrick Casey, Teft all of them have great content on there for pve and pvp. I have a video on there that has to do with getting better at PvP. Tips on how to practice and become better. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I hope they can help!

        • One. Yes. Radar is wonderful and mandatory to watch Two. Start off with crutch weapons. To get used to how much it takes to kill someone. IE: the messenger, bad juju, TLW, E-Spear, Felwinters lie, thorn, fusion rifles, Then move to a sniper. Learn to love it. Pair it with a hand cannon/scout rifle/pulse rifle Stay away from people. Unless your in rumble. Sud0F1nch on xb1 feel free to HMu

        • One that I forget a lot is slow the -blam!- down, it's safer to walk than sprint when moving towards enemy

        • Dont run around the map aimlessly looking for people, familiarize yourself with a certain part of the map and play defense, wait for people to come to you. As you grow more confident expand your area. Also, learn to read the radar correctly and look at it as much as possible

Shoot at enemies that your teammates are shooting at, be aware of your teams position at all times, use the radar for direction, not actual location, of enemies and aim for the head.

        • Honestly a repeating occurrence I have seen with players that aren't the most alpha at crucible is they are simply to aggressive. While everyone wants to go out and do their Rambo hero attempts I doubt going severely negative and spending most of the game looking at the red tinted death screen than playing is really enjoyable to anyone (even though I swear some love that). Simply play more defensively. Pick a teammate to stick with, and stick with them.
Unless they fall out of first place in your team, in that case stick with the other guy in first and if you're the one in first, then keep on jackin them kills man
• I'm not great either, but my best tip is to have fun. Just remember it's a game. You can still learn from situations and get better, but don't feel any obligations to do so.

        • I watched a video on YouTube, the guy said to go a week only using your favorite primary. Then start using your primary and special, the a week later use your heavy. I just started this. But I see the logic. Practice, practice, practice.

        • Win some lose some. Just keep at it and if the opposing team is heavy in one spot, don't keep going there attempt to flank them. I just go kill for kill with the occasional streak once every blood moon.

        • The thing that messes me up the most is map knowledge. Try to learn it and not just run by everything.

        • Start with Mayhem, work your way from easiest to hardest content (inferno being hardest), then if you sure you can, try ToO when it returns.
