I was just cruising around the moon when I started hearing this weird low-pitch sound. I was at the area between Archer's line and Anchor of light, where there's literally no enemies. I heard that the low sound was an indicator of a piece of sleeper simulant being near, and that pocket infinity had something to do with it, so I took it out and basically started shooting at random places to see what happened. I hit a point on top of one of the rocks almost in the out of bounds area and pointed it straight at the broken satellite in the sky. Then something weird happened. Pocket infinity usually fires in rapid succession in its full auto mode, but this time it fired in slow, 1 second intervals. Then, after a certain point of me moving it around some more, it shot really slowly, then stopped at one anno left in the mag and didn't shoot again. It just stayed in place, looking ready to fire, but not doing anything. This is the exact way a radar works if you replace it from speeding up as you got close to treasure, to slowing down. I don't have one of the relics on me, so that was as far as I got, but please! Someone confirm this so I know its not a coincidence!
Edit: I'm uploading a video for proof. I'll have the link up shortly. You can even hear the low-pitched music if you have headphones on.
Edit 2: Here's the link- https://youtu.be/mPoGiODuTF8
Edit 3: So a lot of people are saying that the PI has a glitch where it shoots slowly if you shoot it at the sky in general. I tried it out, and turns out it did the same thing there as well. I don't know if that means anything, but I appreciate all the comments and advice you guys are giving.

I wonder if this is why Xur has legacy engrams for sale. That way people still have a chance to get old exotics that are needed for new exotics. Just a thought.
-
Not a radar. Just an old glitch.

Someone reply for later

Bump for later

No it's a glitch that happens all the time where if you use it for to long, it shoots really slow if u un equip it, it fixes the problem and also some times it will keep one round in the mag it will stay charged but not shot anything but looks really cool
-
Bump me pls
-
I knew my beloved Pocket Infinity would be the doorway to something. As will my Feedback Fences.
-
It's had that glitch for a while now....
-
*Cross Fingers* Please actually be worth something again, Pocket Infinity. I loved you too much :(
-
It's a glitch bro , been here since I was a noob
-
LOL apparently pocket infinity is still broken.
-
I'm here to debunk this (sorry). Wherever I shot Pocket Infinity in the air, it would stall like this. You don't have to be aimed at the Satellite.
-
It's a glitch in the gun, not a radar. You're one of those spin metal hat wearing fools that thought mida led to a chest.
-
Mythoclast glitches in exactly the same way man. It's rare but happens.
-
Edited by Roland IV: 10/3/2015 5:45:37 PMPocket Infinity has been broken since the very first time bungie nerfed its extended mag perk almost a year ago. They try to fix it, but with changes they keep making to the fusion rifle type, Mythoclast and PI will continue to break over and over.
-
How fvcking bored are you
-
well I guess there were parts everywhere in crucible lol that's a glitch on the PI that has been around for quite awhile
-
Is pocket infinity year 2
-
Don't have any idea what you're talking about with a radar... But PI has been glitches like that forever.
-
The slow 1 second interval shooting is a glitch. It happened to me all the time back in HoW.
-
It's a glitch retards.
-
I know the previous firing glitch was fixed so this is really strange.
-
It's a bug. Been that way for a long time.
-
Bump please!!!!

Just gonna leave this here so maybe we can get everyone back on the right track. I've seen some very wild ideas. Wild. m.imgur.com/xRyFlIH
Even the initial acquisition of the quest line comes from a clue you find somewhere hidden in the Destiny universe.
