Why do the class items give you light levels now?
I personally am not a fan of class items giving any stats at all. Because it will quickly go to "optimization"-route, where everyone has to buy certain class item or get kicked off the raid. I always saw Class items as something to tell you apart from other guardians, sort of decorations. Plus 90% of them are ugly crap, especially the legendary ones, so it was nice that I could use the rares from level 6 instead.
So why this change really? Do you like class items giving you light and stats? Or would you rather have it as something you can have as decoration?

1 ReplyI always thought some blue items were cooler than legendary or exotics. Now they have a use again. Also, the ghosts are cool. My only problem is my best ghost is pink and I like the dead orbitone way better. I'm just worried if I infuse a 295 ghost into my 252 dead orbit ghost, it will drop the light below 290. That would blow, plus pinky shows relic iron.
