Why are hunters hated so much?
I have been looking through the forums and noticed that a lot of people hate hunters, for all those that do please explain

1 ReplyYou guys are trolls. I started as a hunter during vanilla and NOBODY would pick me up for VoG runs because I couldn't push the bosses off with my grenades, so I don't want to hear it. You can flap away all you want crying about crucible but I remember the prejudice we got in the beginning and you can take everything negative you have to say and shove it.

Easy: less QQ, more pew pew. Hunters are by far the most vocal class on these forums, and a lot of that noise is crying about everything.

2 RepliesMost of us are decent, but here's the thing. The majority of us are quiet, we only speak when we need to and are normally okay with most things that go on. However, the few of us are loud and make hundreds of threads every second, whining, bitching and moaning. They give us a bad name, they are the ones that act like they represent all of us, when they do not. In short, they are asshats.

Hunter was insanely op for a year and the children maining a hunter pretended to be badasses. Now that its titans time to shine after being shat on for a year they turned into whimpering crybabies. That's why everyone hates them.

2 RepliesThey are not. As with EVERYTHING, you have a bunch of kids and mentally challenged adults vomiting nonsense on these forums. Same with Warlocks and Sunny Titans. In no way convey these kids or morons the majority opinion of any class or character. Best thing to do is to ignore such kids and nobodies.

It's not the class that's attracts unwanted attention it's the players using this class and posting rubbish on the forums about how badass they are at crucible and everyone must bow to their godly talents. Unfortunately the hunter class seems to appeal to a certain sort of individual.

I main a Hunter and am not sure why. Some hunters are whiny especially on the forums, maybe people generalize hunters to act this way so they hate on us. Can't say for sure tho

Just thought I'd say this, don't say the other classes are jealous and actually mean it because if they were jealous why wouldn't they just play as a hunter?

Majority of people in the world are douchebags. Majority of people use Hunters, at least for PvP. Therefore, majority of Hunters, by default almost, are probably douchebags. People get cocky and believe they are the best yatta yatta yatta. Because most of the time it's Hunters with this position, people tend to dislike them. If Titans were the primary class, it would be the same way, everyone would hate the Titans. It's just because the people behind the Guardians are absolute asshats, that all the hate is so clearly seen. I main a Hunter, reminds me of Rangers from Old Realms, and I can say majority of them are douchers. I think every Guardian class has their place and can be an asset to their Fireteam. Just don't be a douche.

6 RepliesHunters are the most popular class, and most gimmicky(invis, cloaks, rogue aspect, etc.) so most younger players, choose hunters on top of the already immature players thr all classes receive, and unfortunately children tend to be loud and rude while typically insulting other classes and talking about "master race" in games and especially on the forums.

I always wanted to be like hawkeye with short teleportation powers. But seeing all these other hunters make me ashamed to be honest. People can't cancel their super with a single sniper shot and therefore want it nerfed. Can't wait for people to realize "oh, hey, I have a Nova Bomb that can cancel any other Super".

2 Replies16% of the hunter population are unskilled little shits who always think their once relevant bladedancer was the best thing in the game. When sunbreaker dropped it was very enjoyable to drop them into their proper bracket.

4 RepliesI guess they are hated cause warlocks and titans had to put up with our bladedancer or golden gun. Tbh though most hunters I know are great. Titans I see or warlocks are dicks to me :/ I'm not here to make anyone look bad but it's just classes hate eachother I guess.

The small portions of hunters that complain and cry nerf left and right are extremely vocal, giving other more logical hunters a bad rap.
