I've been enjoying the Taken King just as much as the next guy, and I was super excited to hear Bungie talk about the new 'smarter' loot system. However, it seems that the exotic engram drops and the exotics they decide into appear to be VERY consistently repetitive. First, out of 17 uses of 3 of Coins, I have gotten 4 exotics. Two of them were Invective, and two of them were Celestial Nighthawk. On top of that, my nightfall rewards have consisted of, you guessed it, Invective and Celestial Nighthawk. No I have not done Any of the suicide exotic farming, I've only used the 3 of Coins in the traditional, intended way. So my question is this. Does the game not believe that I already have this loot? Does the 'smart' loot system possibly still have some bugs? I have read many other reports of duplicate exotics, and Bungie blamed it on the smaller pool of droppable exotics, but that doesn't explain all 6 of my drops being the same damn thing. It's quite disheartening to keep getting the same two things knowing there is so much more out there. Ok, rant over, anyone else experiencing something similar? Update: Bought a helmet Engram from Xur on Friday. Got a fourth Celestial Nighthawk. Bought one more just to see how bad it could get, and I was pleasantly surprised by a Skyburner's Annex.
