You must play pve exclusively to think that nightstalker is the best. That one is actually my favorite for pve. However, in a competitive game mode, there isn't really a better choice than the sunbreaker.

Whats not to love of the nightstalker? Can shutdown multiple supers at one time. Tether absolutely removes any and all chance of escape. Can 1 shot. Has tracking. Shadestep (Drools) Enhanced radar Nightstalkers got some amazing stuff in their kit and they are pretty much the epitome of anti super super. I guarantee you when Trials comes back Nightstalkers will be locking entire teams down with a tether and shutting down supers left and right.

Trials will be primarily sunbreakers, self-Rez, and gg. You can take that to the bank lol. Nightstalkers will not "dominate" trials by any stretch of the imagination.

You clearly underestimate nightstalkers if you don't think they will be powerful. That super suppression plus the tether means a team can be locked up and waste their super

If a team is dumb enough to stand huddled together like that then they are dumb enough to get killed by one hammer, a blade dancer, a nova bomb, a fist of havok, or a gg a lot faster than the Nightstalker. I main a hunter and play quite a bit of pvp. You'd be foolish to run Nightstalker in trials. A defender can knock out supers more effectively with a flashbang.

Edited by Cat Daddy Jeph: 10/3/2015 12:39:34 AMThe damage vulnerability. You are right though, they have a lot of promise to their super. The problem is, shooting a sunbreaker and taking his super away before he manages to throw his tracking hammer at you and kill you. I'm sure nightstalker will do just fine, but when trials drop... The first class I am using will be the Titan sunbreaker. Easy choice for a competitive game mode.
