1 ReplyThis is working as intended. Legacy Engrams are designed to exclusively drop year 1 level exotics.
Lastly, Xûr will also choose a Legacy Engram every week. These Engrams contain Year One Exotics (at Year One Attack and Defense levels) for players who want to finish up a Collection. They strongly bias towards Exotics not already in your Blueprint Collection, to help fill in the blank slots - excluding Mythoclast and Necrochasm, which are still only available from their Year One sources.
https://www.bungie.net/7_Bungie-Weekly-Update---09172015/en/News/News?aid=13575

Of course still, it's by design Search. Seriously, soo many topics about this. As well as a Bungie website post detailing it.

Edited by Bl00dfest9: 10/2/2015 12:51:03 PMLEGACY. Bungie has clearly stated that LEGACY engrams will ONLY drop year one tier weapons as they are there only for those who wish to complete their year one collections. These engrams will ALWAYS decrypt into a year one exotic at 160 attack. Legacy means old, redundant, outdated.

Edited by Autosnap: 10/2/2015 12:51:26 PMYou've done this more than once? It's only going to be year one items coming from "Legacy" Engrams. It's in the patch notes and all over this forum. Sorry man. On the bright side, you now own the blueprints and if they were moved to year two you can purchase the year two item from the Kiosk for Legacy marks...
