Oryx is the absolute BEST scam artist i have ever had the displeasure of encountering. The point of Moldering shards: to get better rewards upon defeating Oryx. Defeat Oryx and your shards are taken in exchange for the extra reward. 1st run Oryx less than twenty shards got two primary weapons. 2nd run beat Oryx i had 32 shards. No gear no weapons recieved 2 Moldering shards? Fluke right? No. Third time beat oryx 32 shards again and recieved boots and 2 moldering shards. 20 moldering shards taken. Bungie why is Oryx selling 2 shards for the price of 20? Why does Oryx award shards AT ALL if i have 20? Why are we still calling these rewards? Clearly Oryx is a scam artist. So far ive gotten better rewards without the dumb ass shards. Dumbest part of this expansion by far next would be the exotic upgrade system.
