I can't stand the crucible quests. They force you to play game modes you don't like and with load outs you don't like. How is that fun?

They're great. Nothing is forcing you to play those game modes or use those guns. You're the one who wants to finish the quest.
-
I like them. I get bored of the meta.

1 Replyi dont mind them what i do hate is when i do do the quests im put with people using nothing but shottys. im sorry but they dont seem to be fixed, i feel like the proper nerf would be the range. thats why i hate shotts aka (chaperone, felwinters, invective, patch a, etc etc)

I freaking hate them. Crucible is complete randomness.
-
Get over it try new things
-
2 RepliesAs my parents would say, "grow up". So you have to step out of your comfort zone for a little bit…so what. Maybe you'll learn to like something you otherwise wouldn't try. After the quest is done you can go back to whatever you do like.

The bounties are very well done now IMO. The quests are pretty crappy, Jolly Holliday is driving me insane in particular. I get the idea behind giving you a quest to try every Crucible mode, that's fine. However, tying it to wins so much is simply a horrible terrible no-good idea. That should have been obvious from day one. There's no reason they can't give you a quest like "Kill x guardians with headshots and win 2 matches", that way it's not pure participation but you also don't feel like you're wasting your time in a losing match.

It's been whatever until having to win two rift matches. Just a coincidence but holy crap. I have been trying to win my second for three hours. Even if I were only an average player, what are the odds that i'd lose so many in a row :(
-
I don't hate them. I'm just not doing them.
-
I wouldn't mind if they rewarded you for it. I did one or two and didn't nothin so i jus said eff it.

Raises hand!

Some of them I don't like (I'm looking at you last word quest) the other ones I seem to complete randomly from just playing, and I don't play crucible often..
-
I liked most of the old ones better tgan the new ones.

Edited by Sir MAL1CE: 10/2/2015 6:29:28 PMIt's all a grind it isn't like one is any better than the other. I prefer diversifying my game play...it makes me better as an overall gammer. I almost wish all quests/bounties had two options pve or pvp separate rewards for us who don't mind co-mingling and different challenges
-
I may pick those quests back when I have absolutely nothing left to do. Which might mean never.
-
It's not fun when it's necessary. When it's necessary it's just annoying as hell
-
It's not, I deleted mine, refuse to play lag wars of unbalanced hacking bullshit
-
Yup. I've made posts about how Bungie's current approach to persuaded PvP is damaging to both pve and PvP players.
-
Then don't do it, problem solved!
-
This guy. The Crucible just sucks. I only play it when I have to - Trials, occasional Iron Banner, and current dailies for marks.
-
Ya theyre lame. I never do crucible bounties just go in an shoot a bit an leave. BF4 is real PvP. 64 player maps alone make it 10x better.
-
1 ReplyThe salvage part is impossible with randoms.
-
I only live for PvP
-
Nope they are ok tbh
