I think people are respecting the difficulty and taking the proper steps to level up before attempting it.
I'm still trying to get my titan up there before jumping into it. I finished the exotic sword quest last night and got Black Spindle too. I just need to get my light level from 296 to 298 and I'll will be getting into the Raid like a mad man. No rush though ;)

You can jump into it we all beat it with less than 300 light last week
