What The -blam!- Is Your Problem With High Value Target Patrols !?!
Been on Venus for three -blam!-ing days, farming patrols like a god damn idiot, getting three "Mystery Patrols" an hour, going to orbit every 45 minutes, and in the past half-week and 14 hours of game time, I've only gotten 1 -blam!-ing High Value Target Patrol on Venus for my quest, on my Titan.
Every -blam!-ing time I go into a Patrol Zone, it's flooded with -blam!-ing Sparrow patrols or "Collect From The Dead" patrols. Every so often if I'm lucky as -blam!-, I'll get a Taken Patrol or a Scan patrol.
Where the -blam!- are all the god damn High Value Target Patrols !?!
Had the same issue with my hunter. Took me 2 weeks on my main to get this done.
Stop with all this Random Bullshit. *NOBODY* likes it.

I think its all by chance. I always get high value target patrol missions. And honestly, I think they should be rarer. Why? Because unlike most other patrol mission (aside from the new 'taken blight' patrol missions), it give you 25 rep instead of 10, and a decent amount of glimmer. And, think of this realistically: how often do you think the tower would place a 'bounty' on one simple, anonymous Major enemy AND what would be the chance that YOU, out of every other guardian out there, just so happen to stumble upon the request.

1 ReplyWhen you spawn go to waking ruins. It always spawns there. If it's not there go to orbit and go back.

They seem pretty scarce there. I just spawn in take a "lap around the planet", if I don't see any, back to orbit and try again. I did happen to notice that every one I did find, was in the Waking Ruins.

They never spawn on Venus for whatever reason. All other locations I got in one trip to patrol. Venus took 5 times of driving around each location only to not have a single one show up then having to go to orbit and do that all over again. It's really tedious

grab quest, then abandon, grab all three in a zone, then move on to the next zone, by teh time you make a full rotation teh patrol will start spawning back in

10 RepliesBest place imo earth. Load into zone check for vip mission. If there is one it takes you to divide. Grab it kill target check divide. If nothing go to orbit and do again. If you don't see them right away don't waste time farming others.

1 ReplyThe problem is your completing other missions trying to get a VIP. Go to Venus check for VIP, if none, go to orbit. Rice and repeat.

2 RepliesYou know what the beacon symbol is for the high value target is?, it looks like a soccer ball. Go for those, won't take long.

Couple places to go here for VIP: Near ishtar academy, and the citadelcitadel They may spawn elsewhere, but one or two should always spawn in one of these locations, as they are VIP adjacent. If there are none, go to orbit and return to these areas on another patrol to refresh the beacons.

Dude that shit is a pain in the ass, I got all three on Cosmodrome; gotta complete the rest of the planets (it eats up a lot of time doing that shit)
