Is aquiring the Black Spindle the hardest thing in Destiny?
Me and my friends grinded this out for 2 hours and finally beat it with around 30 seconds left. After, we all agreed that that was probably the hardest thing we've done in the game, including Oryx. It's almost unmanageable, but it's just at the point where it is barely doable. What do you think guardians?

Depends, Oryx relies on more people co-coordinating well which can be hard if they aren't people you regularly group up with. I got black spindle last night with 2 friends who I play with a lot and we got it on the 3rd try without too much of an issue. Oryx took us a few hours the first time. The black spindle mission is a lot more reactive though. Either way, it was still damn tough and definitely up there with the raid finale.
