Killed Oryx with 20 Moldering Shards..
...And didn't get an extra reward, but yet still redeemed my 20 Moldering Shards, has this happened to anyone else? It's weird because yesterday as my Hunter I beat Oryx with 20 Moldering Shards again and got Skyburners Annex, Darkhollow Chiton, and Doom of Chelchis. But today with my Titan it redeemed 20 Moldering Shards and only gave me chest piece..

I used 20 shards on oryx and my rewards were two, 2 moldering shards. So consider yourself lucky.

1 ReplyI jumped into an Oryx cp. Hadn't done the raid that week. It took my 20 shards and my only reward was 2 shards. No weapons or armor. Sucked haha

Edited by jeck2000: 10/15/2015 6:30:48 PMThe first time you do Oryx you are guaranteed a weapon. Every time after that, you can get a weapon or just plain moldering shard, or even just worms pore. The moldering shard effect takes 20 of your moldering shards and gives you an extra reward from any part of the raid. If you just got one item when you used your shards, that is intended. Without those shards you would have gotten nothing.

Beat it on reset and got....wait for it....2 moldering shards for oryx. That's right just 2 moldering shards and nothing else. I had 35 moldering shards and it took 20 from me and gave me 2 with nothing else. Happens atleast once a week to me and I make sure that I have atleast 1 slot open on all items to ensure it isn't getting lost. I'm getting used to oryx trolling me on a weekly basis

If you got the chest piece, that was your Moldering Shard drop. Oryx drops are only: Moldering Shards, Primary Weapons, Helmet. The Moldering Shards allow you to get a drop from any section of the raid.

I redeemed 20 and got a 300 shotgun. I already had one at 307

Well... I got mouldering shards back, and guns I can already obtain (and already have) from previous bits in the raid.

I got the pulse rifle (again) and my 2nd hand Cannon with firefly. Still no scout. :(
