Titan mains increase?
So I've noticed that over the span of the last 3 weeks, people of the forums have gradually moved to main titans. I have seen hunters do what they ways told titans "you don't like it, make a hunter and join us" and its just amazing to see these people move to a new class entirely over one super. I still main warlock and now a stormcaller for it matches my play style. I enjoy HoS yes but will I main it? Nahhhh I'm good

That's just the way it works. I've been a Titan main since the closed Destiny Alpha. We all know these fake titans will just move on to whatever is 'OP' next. All they are doing is hurting their skill as they will never stay with anything long enough to get good at it.

2 RepliesPeople are starting to finally recognize that the Titan is a damn good class and can perform well in any situation. It has the best super for pvp, and the best super for pve, and one of the best exotics for pve in the game. It's also the best for platforming and the armor looks the coolest. These, of course, are my opinions.

2 RepliesI'm actually leveling up my lock after I'm done with my hunter. I have little interest with the titan. Hammer of sol is great, don't get me wrong, but the sunbreaker as a whole is entirely underwhelming. "I CAN THROW HAMMERS FOR DAYS AND BURN PEOPLE WOOOOO- my supers up... damn... what do I do now?" The super is the only thing this subclass really shines with. After that? It's actually sorta garbage.

Titan since beta. I almost fell in love with my Warlock because of Self res but then I went back to my titan. People who main the titan day one will always use Defender for PvE. I miss Striker in PvP tho :(

It seems like it, I've mained a Titan since the beta personally. But Titan numbers have definitely increased since the new subclass became available.

1 ReplyI'm still forever maining my Defender. Still though, regardless of my negative opinions of Sunbreaker it's nice to have a more offensive class for Titan both in and out of PvP. Striker is fun and all but it had it's limitations and as much as I love Defender I need to change things up occasionally. I just really wish that Stormcallers had a bounce grenade. I could probably live without skating once I got used to the jump, can't live without my bounce grenades. They're my favourite part about being a Titan, each subclass has one. If Stormcallers had one they might have actually challenged Defender for my favourite.

The only thing I can say about it is maybe some of these jumpers will find themselves liking Titan for more than its (true or not) Sunbreaker OPness. Even if Sunbreaker gets nerfed I'll continue to main Titan, probably helps that due to the PvP bounties for each specific class I haven't done much Sunbreaker...just finished the Striker part today.

8 RepliesJudging by daily stats, it looks the same. Either way, Nightstalkers have much bigger advantages. A targeting system that tracks your enemies and shows you where they're moving on screen even behind walls, a poison melee grenade that can kill multiple enemies or damage them from a distance, and shade step. Plus their supers still kill far more than Titan's super with their tethering multiple enemies. I'd rather main a Hunter in the crucible. Titan has crappy grenades and melee and everything else, except a flashy super you get once in awhile. Pretty much the big reason hunters far outkill everyone in the crucible every day in stats. Their other abilities far outshine the other new subclasses and it's a bit much to see where your targets are going on screen behind walls, along with enhanced radar and shade step. And there's talk about nerfing the only good thing about the Sunbreakers?
