Me and my friends grinded this out for 2 hours and finally beat it with around 30 seconds left. After, we all agreed that that was probably the hardest thing we've done in the game, including Oryx. It's almost unmanageable, but it's just at the point where it is barely doable. What do you think guardians?

No way, ONCE you get the strat down, it really not hard... Prioritise blights, ads, boss and it's not too bad
-
Not after you figure out a way of doing it. Struggled my ass off last week. This week I've done it about 6 or 7 times.
-
Nothing in the game is hard

Oryx is harder by far

Got 3 in an hour

2 RepliesFirst try. Really easy

Technically yes

Edited by Racebum: 10/1/2015 9:13:02 AMRight now I think it is. I've done every raid, every mission, to all of you saying its not, what is if not this?
-
Got it done first try. Pretty easy, although we did use exotic swords
-
A guy done it solo....slayerage Guys a proper boss lol
-
It's basically an exercise in communication and momentum, especially the final room. If you are not constantly communicating then you're in for a rough time unless EVERYONE knows what they're doing but that said, if you're not killing the Blight orbs when they spawn and then the adds afterward, they are going to have the numbers to overrun you to the point where you can die in that little room the encounter starts. If you have the ability to swing the momentum in your favour by stopping the adds spawning all the time then it's going to be a lot easier but to do that normally you need constant communication in that last room if nothing else.

with 1 or 2 people i guess its not that difficult. i tried it yesterday too and if i wouldnt have been so stupid to waste my time on the black balls (lol) i would have done it solo. i thought those black balls were gone after i killed them but nope, they respawn <_< killed the boss and after the 10 minutes passed there were only like 3 or 4 enemies left.
-
Definitely not. Hard first time or so, after that it's fairly easy. Brought around 8 teams through it today, we ran out of time once because of extreme lag issues, had no trouble the second time through. Lots of people just focus entirely on the boss, which can occasionally work depending on the players/strats, but most of the time it's much easier to just kill all the adds as they spawn. Especially with proper super chaining, you can clear out all the big enemies like Captains/Centurions in their respective phases while only needing to kill Psions.
-
Not for me but it was challenging, worth an exotic at the end
-
First try 1:30 left

Edited by ZaddyZealot: 10/1/2015 6:07:17 AMI tried to solo it but i ran out of time. That shit was way too long.
-
I was trying this with my dad and another player; my dad was below the recommended light level, and he insisted on using the ol' gjallerhorn. It didn't go so bad, we killed the boss, but not the enemies. Just a fun thing we did together before turning in for the day.

3 RepliesYou apparently haven't gotten your sword
-
Harder than oryx for me that's for sure
-
When you get the hang of it, it is not bad. People just need to not rush it too much :)
-
I was just trying to do it with 2 other guys. They wouldn't listen to my suggestions so I gave up.
-
Edited by GrandpaRob31: 10/1/2015 5:50:22 AMYes, by far the hardest thing to do for a seriously crappy weapon.
-
lol i beat it 3x with 2:30 to spare...just kill the adds first
-
Took me less than 45 min to do it on my 2nd and 3rd character. It's really not hard.
-
Did it with 2 1/2 minutes left on third attempt. Hardest thing I've done in destiny and any other game in a long ass time
