3 jedi vs a fireteam in of 1 hunter, 1 titan, and 1 warlock who would win?
EDIT: the guardians supers are charged at the start of the fight but the jedi have access to all cannon force powers that jedi can use in combat.

Jedi. What a daft question
-
2 RepliesLogistically, the Jedi have the upper hand for a myriad of reasons, but can the Jedi respawn infinitely, as guardians can? Eventually, they would wear down and be unable to adequately attack and defend. Until then, it would be a red-paste-fest.

Supers from the start? Lol, Hammer is Sol, game over man game over.
-
Jedi duh. A light saber will cut through a guardians armor like a Swiss knife to a hot stick of butter. That and supers won't work on Jedi They are super. The force is strong with this one lads.

13 RepliesGuardians: Hunter-nightstalker Warlock-voidwalker Titan-striker Hunter makes whole fireteam invisible with smoke, Hunter tethers, titan smashes, warlock nova bombs, nothing left but guardians. Sorry but jedi's can't hit or control what they can't see.

No Guardian could EVER defeat Revan.

Jedi can see your attack before you make it makes guns obsolete and predicting a super makes it useless. Plus jedi don't have super energy they are super energy

15 RepliesEdited by Hawaiin Breeze: 10/1/2015 10:54:44 AMI voted for guardians but the more I think about it jedi's could just block every super/grenade with the light saber or force push. And guns? Pfffffffft.

Has anyone even considered gray Jedi yet?

2 RepliesEdited by Hagalaz-27: 10/1/2015 5:28:32 PMSince Star Wars is the challenger, by virtue of visiting a Destiny forum, Destiny gets to set the place and conditions for the fight. Destiny elects to have the fight on Myrkr, deep inside a forest hosting a ysalamiri community. At least Guardians can still function normally when their Light is suppressed... Edit: I think a better topic would be "Guardians + Light Side vs The Darkness + Dark Side". Mostly because both universes are pretty awesome.

1 ReplyThis honestly sounds tough. Jedi have a plethora of tricks up their sleeve, and although the term in Destiny is coined "light", I'm fairly certain we can agree that all non-kinetic forms of combat in Destiny are energy-based. I do not think small energy-based attacks would have any effect on Jedi Masters. Lightsabers are incredibly potent at neutralizing energy, and the force can even be used to do so as well (Yoda catching Dooku and Palpatines lightning and absorbing/redirecting it). I think when you go through the supers guardians have, you'll find they are mostly ineffective on Jedi: Fist of Havoc - Telegraphed, short radius. Jedi move faster than guardians, they would be able to dodge. Nova Bomb - Honestly one of the more dangerous ones, but slow traveling. Split nova bomb would likely be able to be dodged individually, large Nova Bomb would require jumping out of the way along with some sort of force shield. Golden Gun - Energy based, absorbed by lightsabers. Force Sense gives Jedi a flow of battle. Attacks that would normally be very fast or ambushes are neutralized by this pre-cognitive style of fighting. Radiance - Song of Flame to buff other guardians. Probably a more useful one combined with certain grenades. Ward of Dawn- Good for defending against direct force attacks and buffing guardians. Arc Blade - Utterly useless. A light saber would strike them down easily. Night stalker - The suppression properties of the arrow might hold them in place, but it wouldn't negate their force powers. And even if it did, engaging in close combat wouldnt be good. Hammer of Sol - Again, energy-based in nature. But perhaps good for buffing ones self into enough of a tank to ward off Light saber strikes. Stormcaller - See above about lightning. In my opinion, people are saying guns would be useless on Jedi.....how so? All the ranged weapons in the Star Wars universe are energy-based. They exist in that form to make light sabers more powerful. I don't see a light saber doing much more to a bullet than disintegrating it. Kinetic bullets can't be deflected, and Auto Rifles shoot much faster than the fastest repeating blaster in the SW universe. I think the Jedi would have to win on their merits with the force instead of straight weapon combat. That's my opinion.

5 RepliesEdited by DubstepDruid: 10/1/2015 5:22:41 PMGuardians, if you read the books Jedi can't detect things that aren't from their galaxy Also the blasters that the Jedi block are only going about 130 mph whereas the guardian's weapons are moving several thousand feet per second, so long story short the Jedi couldn't block the bullets

2 RepliesJedi. No contest. Too many weak minded guardians that can be easily manipulated by a Jedi mind trick. Not to mention force push, super speed, force choke, force lighting, telekinesis etc. Jedi also don't have to wait for their supers to build.
-
Guardians, do the Jedi have ghosts that can Rez them? I think not!
-
I love star wars but guardian powers are greater in most cases. Unless the Jedi can get in close and slice them up, they won't win. A super or two will eradicate the Jedi. Have they patched the hammer exploit yet?

3 RepliesSoooo the guys who can bring one of the Empires Destoryers out of the sky orrrrr the guys in battle armor with rocket launchers that get mawed down by dregs. The guys who can literally crush someone's heart in their enemy's chest by thinking about it , or the guys who can only use any of their powers every 5 minuets. Stupid topic. Guardians are like watered down Spartans with a little bit of magic sprinkled in.

The real question is this CAN TUTAMINIS ABSORB SUPERS?? I believe it can, since it can absorb most other types of energy direction. Therefore, jedi wipe guardians easy. Plus being one with the force basically means invincibility.

3 RepliesEdited by rastachameleon : 10/1/2015 5:25:15 PMLook I'm about as big a fan as you can get of Star Wars. Watched all movies most shows played most games and read some books. I hate to say it but you're stupid if you think a Jedi would win. With only cannon force powers (which has limited the range of available powers since Disney declared that books and games are no longer canon) Jedi have no hope against guardians. Let's face it guardians are practically immortal. They die and their ghost revives them. Only an enemy of the light can kill a gaurdian for good by draining their light. Sure Jedi may be more skilled and have a broader range of powers but they have no way to keep the gaurdian down for good. The guardian would just keep getting revived by his ghost until he beat the Jedi into submission. Again I'm a big supporter of Star Wars (I like it more than destiny so I'm not being biased) but it's hard to head immortality. Edit Also if we assume hunters bow suppresses force powers much like supers and abilities, then Jedi would just be done for. Can't move quick enough to dodge or block. Can't use force for attack or defense.

3 RepliesGolden gun. Game over. Light sabers wouldn't stand a chance against them.

11 RepliesJedi: knights so strive for order and peace. They back up diplomacy with great power but their focus isnt on violence and no true jedi will directly hurt a living being with the force. Every time they use force push offensively its against droids. Only the sith use the force as a weapon. Guardians: a dead thing, born of death and only capable of creating death. Violence is our entire existence. Like the sith we deal only in violence of action. Remember when luke skywalker killed the 2 sith lords by being better at combat then they were? Yea i dont either. He won because he convinced his father to come back to the jedi after all those years serving the sith. The emperor is only slain by vader, the sith lord. So the fight will end in the guardians favor unless the jedi talk them to death.

Jedi don't use force powers anywhere near as often as guardians use theirs or supers, imagine if it was zavala or shaxx, cayde-6, and ikora
