I don't expect this to actually happen. If it does happen, it probably won't be until another very massive expansion is out, or until Destiny 2 is released, but I might as well just share the idea anyway. The idea is this: a warlock subclass that has limited "taking" abilities similar to Oryx.
Abilities
Annexing Will (Melee): enemies are "taken" when they are killed by your melee, and temporarily return as allies in battle. Alternative melees that can be unlocked can include an ability to steal super-energy from targets, and the ability to slow down enemies that are hit by spreading "taken" energy on them.
Summoner's Flame (Grenade): excluding majors and ultras, the last three enemies you've killed are temporarily summoned as as allies in battle. Alternative grenades can include one that creates a pool of fire made of taken energy which blinds and debuffs enemies, or a grenade that teleports the user to where the grenade lands (the grenade acts as a "taken" portal, and the thrower "takes" themselves to reappear at the portal).
Ascendant Ritual (SUPER): The last twelve enemies you've killed are all temporarily summoned as allies in battle. Can be upgraded to alternatively summon the last six majors, or the last ultra you've killed. Lasts about 10 seconds.
For crucible, it could create generic AI bots. For example, you kill a voidwalker warlock in crucible, and you can then summon a "taken" voidwalker warlock bot when you use the grenade or super. The size and stats of the bot can be modified to major or ultra levels depending on what super-related talents the player has selected for the necromancer warlock. Alternatively, it could just only summon the last enemies killed in PVE.
