Do you think the Black Spindle mission is too difficult?

It's...challenging; it was rather hard duo'ing it with a good RL friend - took 3 tries but we did it. Had there been a third gun, first or second attempt, easy

Its the dark orb spam that gets me. Its an ultra captain. I worst nightmare ._.

It's a free, guaranteed exotic. It [i]should[/i] be difficult to get.

2:16 left in the clock so not too hard for a 310 sniper and a 300 version in the wall. Also the only way for non raiders to go over 300 light

For a 310 exotic it's a nice challenge. ... when they change it to 290.... not worth it.

1 ReplyIf the gun remains 310, definitely not. If it falls to 290 ... I still think it is fine, if that is the only way to get it. If Xur sells Black Spindles or Draksis starts dropping them, whole different ballgame :)

Hate getting to nothing but the adds and then suddenly returned to orbit because one psion kept multiplying. Bungie seems to be a huge fan of artificial difficulty though. Look at CE and PoE. The only reason those were "Hard" were because you were one level below everything. Go back when you are the same or one level above and it's a cake walk.

It's perfect the way it is, takes skill and teamwork to finish and makes it that much more rewarding when completed.

Was unable to do it this week but it wasn't too difficult, for a guaranteed exotic sniper its alright considering the difficulty of the nightfall and how crap the rewards from it are.

Last week only tried it solo once due to time constraints, died before I got to door so just finished normal. This week got in a group that was doing the dark blade strike for exotic swords. We each had a different element, will never do it that way again. After that we did black spindle first try with 2 mins to spare.

So long as two people are focusing the black orbs and ads and one focuses the boss you should be fine. The two clearing orbs/ads take shots at the boss when no ads. Shouldn't be too hard. Fun challenge though.

5 RepliesWe literally beat it with one second left on the clock. With that being said, I don't think it's too hard. The difficulty makes it feel like much more of an accomplishment.
