I do agree some of the missions wont be at all stealthy but the Main campain will be more stealthy so it will be a stealthy game

Ok here you're sitting on top of a building with a Silence Br with no N.V. scope and a group of grunts and brutes are on the bottom of the building. And you need to kill them before them enter. That is the need for a N.V. scope. But it is a stealth game no matter what you say. If you charge a group of Brute with a MSG who will win? One flashback =/= Whole campaign Firefight =/= Campaign Some of the rookies squadmates were active before he woke up. The entire campaign involving the rookie, which is most of the campaign, is stealth.

I did it all the time in Halo 3 with my friends.[/quote] ay dios mio. the only thing that recarpo said that may have been the right thing to do, was to question which photos were from firefight, and which are in the campaign. look at the initial post again....click on that link to that article.....scroll down; read what bungie says; "it's not a stealth game" eh; it's the same halo 3 engine right? the shooting is the same? no shields right? when I had no shields in halo's 2 & 3, i'd still play the same get some cover, which is what i do regardless of whether or not my shield is up (only exception is when i'm with A.I allied NPC's, in which i'd run around rambo straffing left, right hopping and skipping to try to save as many ppl as possible, but when i'm solo, i always have cover, regardless of what level my shield is at) if it's on heroic or lower, just point and no scope the brute in the face. pull out an AR or smg, and sweep left to right all of the drones out of the sky, and frag the -blam!- out of grunts & brutes alike, (or sweep from left to right the grunts dead. ammo has never been an issue, unless that skull for limited ammo was on) [Edited on 06.10.2009 7:42 AM PDT]

I would be using stealth on ODST whilst using Mythic. Seems logical enough.

Recarpo is right. You haven't played the game and you sound like retarded eight year old. They took away the sheilds and you know the grunts and drones. If they come at in numbers with a brute or two you'd be swerded faster than you could run away. Monk but half of the game is where you wait and watch and sneak around. I could with a turret and a rocket launcher. I did it all the time in Halo 3 with my friends.

Personally that sounds like you will be using stealth a lot.[/quote] eh, 1st couple levels of Halo CE stealth was used too, a long w/ the silent cartographer level, and that snowy level. it was used in halo 2 as well, assassinating grunts and elites, and pwning noobs w/ the arbiter. in every halo game (halo wars doesn't count) stealth has been an option on multiple occasions. OR.... you can just blow -blam!- up. whatever your preference. i think that's what Halo 3; ODST is. like metal gear almost, except w/ allied forces helping you. you can chose to be stealth, or you can blow everyone to hell w/ ur stinger missles & grenades n' stuff.

The campaign even starts out at NIGHT with SILENCED weapons and you try to avoid enemy patrols and find your lost team members. Personally that sounds like you will be using stealth a lot.

So let me get this straight a silenced pistol and smg plus sneaking around in town (AS ROOKIE) is not stealthy? well my friend no 1 blames you for having lost a few years of knowledge about halo so the flashback parts may not be stealthy but the part as Rookie is oh and the pics you got?
