Bungie adds new OHKO body shot sniper to PVP
How can you seriously be this incompetent?
They removed final round but gave out a high impact 4 round magazine sniper with luck in the chamber with today's armsday sniper package, capable of killing in one body shot during pvp.
Absolutely pathetic. Do you playtest your own game? Have some kind of quality control department? Probably not.

The name of the sniper is Eirene RR4
Consider this: you have a 25% chance for a OHKO at all times. There's also a 25% chance it'll be the last round in your mag, effectively giving you a final round sniper. This breaks the game and furthers the imbalanced nature of pvp
Spoiler: there's an audio cue when you shoot your lucky bullet, making this easier than ever to abuse

Edit2- in no circumstance should you be capable of a OHKO body shot, anyone trying to justify this is a fool
Edit 3- snipers, consider this: 25% of all your body shots are now kills. Every time you've spawned with 1 round in your mag is now a OHKO to the chest. 25% of the time you'll know exactly when you get a free body shot. Snipers sounding pretty strong huh? Anyone who thinks this is okay likely doesn't have two brain cells to rub together

2 RepliesOh you think that's bad? Look at my Titan. You see that Omolon sniper, right? I got that today in an arms day package. Look at that rate of fire. LOOK AT IT. I'll be able to double bodyshot anybody in crucible before they can retreat. I don't consider myself a sniper, but when the mood takes my and I do pull out a long rifle I do go for the lower impact, higher rate of fire. I like to be able to follow up my shots quickly if I miss. But those stats are usually close, like my Luna sniper I have. But this thing? Whoo, boy! I haven't taken it into crucible yet, but I'm really eager to see how it plays. :P

You can't abuse it like you did with final round, if you get a OHK, then you're lucky, not a cheater. It is literally impossible to abuse luck in the chamber to the same extent as final round.

2 RepliesI believe both the weapon itself and the perks are random. I also believe that LitC only activates on full clips so you don't get it if you spawn with less than three bullets. (on that gun, because the clip size is 4)

I got this sniper the first week. Its damn amazing for pve stuff. I dont use snipers in pvp. Also, is there any proof it will actually one shot with luck in the chamber? Has anyone actually tested it if anyone has a luck in the chamber Eirene RR4 like I do? I can't aim for shit in crucible with a sniper. So until its actually tested or becomes a problem why are you worrying about it?

You need to get a lucky roll to have luck in the chamber) Edit: fgts like you who actually get the weapon and complain ruin this game. 25% chance it'll be your first round too... This perk is only acceptable for OHKO'iny people if you're spamming non-crit shots, you're leaving it up to luck to kill someone.... It's better for PvE, additional damage to high health targets is always nice, thank goodness I've got something to replace my Efrideet now, just gotta hope the Omolon sniper choices next Wednesday has Luck in the chamber, if it had final round that'd make my day though.
