I was wondering which class you thought was the least helpful for the raid.
Edit: Wow lots of Warlock hate.
Edit 2: Wow 2000 replies! Thx for all the opinions.

4 RepliesHunter with there tether are extremely useful during the warpriest and gorgoroth, and the echo of oryx during the last fight. Good for bonus dps. Titans are always useful during a pve fight.( not just saying this because I main one) with weapons of light it takes major dps, and turns it too awesome dps. If you couple that with the hunters tether, then your really kicking ass. Warlocks are kind of useless, NO OFFENSE! unless your clearing adds I wouldn't need one on the team. Even with self rez during golgoroth it still counts as a death on the nub scoreboard. They are valuable during the daughters tho..clearing the adds after a rotation. Other than that this raid was clearly designed to tether and bubble your way through it.

I would say warlocks are the most flexible in raids the aren't amazing at one particular thing they are the work horses of the raid wether it be with clutch self rezes or stormcaller which is the best add control in the game
-
A peanut is more usefull than a warlock
-
There really is no bad class
-
1 ReplyStorm caller can be easily replaced with a supercell on a warlock or Titan.
-
Honestly, I only run sunsinger in raids for the bullcrap des- otherwise I run with "song of flame" because it resets half of your teams super bars (more if extended option chosen as well) IN ADDITION to the orbs you create- guaranteed full supers for your Fireteam. They're naturally tanky as sunsinger as well. Void walker is AMAZING for instant kills on relic / totem area. Storm caller is solid on golg/ war priest as well for add control. Haven't done oryx.
-
Warlocks unfortunately.
-
2 RepliesThis could change if hard mode is like the other raids... No revives.
-
1 ReplyI voted warlock even though it's my main. Self rez came in handy once when I died at the war priest with the aura on, came back instantly and still had the power. Other than that it wasn't really necessary other than for its melee keeping you up. I switched to storm caller at oryx to use the super as he teleports you into the shade's area

So much hate for warlocks and they were the ones doing some serious slaying in the first 10 completions.
-
Titan Bubble > Self Revive >Everything Else. Honestly though, I built my sun singer around Monte Carlo with flame shield, and it's hard for me to die. #Warlocks4DaWin

It's not Warlock hate, they just don't offer much to the team. Downed Oryx last night with a lot of first timers, 5 hunters 1 titan. Defender bubble is still clutch. Weapons of light is huge on all of the fights. Nigjtstalker bow is amazing for add control, orbs, and damage bonus. Celestial nighthawk with GG is amazing on Oryx, Golgoroth bubbles. Warlocks are kinda "meh", unless you're running Stormcaller for add control.

5 RepliesStorm callers are great for clearing ads when your team is damaging Golgoroth

4 RepliesEdited by ArticularAlloy: 9/29/2015 7:47:19 PMRemember when a Hunter couldn't get into VoG because all the scrubs wanted Warlocks to cheese Atheon?
that's none of my business tho...
Oh my how the tides have turned

1 ReplyI'm a warlock and I chose warlock. Not our fault Bungie made our "support" class not very supportive.
-
None of the above..
-
Warlock by far. Bring nothing to help the fireteam except a selfish revive that only makes up for them making a mistake in the first place. If they revived more than them selves.
-
Not warlock hate...but titans are great with ad control (bubbles are still just as useful) and hunters can pin down a bunch of targets. And that jumping puzzle is a lot easier with the bones of eao, apparently.
-
I find the only way Warlocks would be useful is if song of flame got a buff, that truly significantly reduces cooldowns.
-
1 ReplyNo class is bad for raids anymore. HOWEVER Gunslingers, Bladedancers, Strikers, and maybe Voidwalkers would severely underperform.
-
Warlocks will be "useful" again the first 1 to 3 weeks when hard mode comes out
-
5 RepliesEdited by Sawade_: 9/29/2015 8:37:34 PMThat drifty jump from my Warlock caused my team to wipe only a few times. Other than that I don't hear no one getting mad about clearing adz in a sec with jazz hands.

Edited by Kuraishi Sol: 9/29/2015 8:46:03 PMHunters are finally useful for the raids so it's evenly matched now all subclasses are needed for the raid really, but I voted hunter because Titans and hunters are super useful in the raid for dps but I honestly still don't want more than 1 hunter for the raid especially at daughters, watching them miss that platform repeatedly just makes me cringe

Honestly they are all helpful. Stprmcaller clears out all the annoying as -blam!- ads... self res has fusion Andes that make ogres and other yellow bars melt easily. Nightstalkers are amazing in every aspect. Golden gun is awesome with nighthawk for Oryx and other yellow bars. Bubble is amazing for everything. And subverted is decent ar orb making/ad control. Worst subclasses are.... FOH, Bladedancer and Nova Bomb.
