I was wondering which class you thought was the least helpful for the raid.
Edit: Wow lots of Warlock hate.
Edit 2: Wow 2000 replies! Thx for all the opinions.

Edited by DannyLux123: 9/29/2015 9:55:54 PMTitan defender will always be the best support class, although nightstalkers are pretty useful. If your using sunsinger with self rez on the kings fall your doing it wrong. You should be on storm caller and if you must do sunsinger set your tree to reduce cool down of allies so you can support your team. For most of this raid if you die your wiping so self rez is worthless and selfish
-
Specifically, Voidwalkers. Just useless in this raid. Sunsingers are always a practical choice, and storm callers can clear adds like nobodies buisness, and generate a fair amount of orbs if wearing Light Beyond Nemesis. Striker titans are pretty much pointless. Defender titans have weapons of light, which is always helpful. SunBreakers can deal heavy damage to bosses and can weaken them as well. Hunters. Blade Dancer and Gunslinger both have their uses, but night stalker is a better choice overall. Shadowshot weakens, suppresses, and slows enemies. It does everything you need. DPS boost, mob control, and also tons of orbs.
-
They all seem ideal for the raid. Now when you talk about subclasses, that's a different story.
-
I didn't vote cos I like all of them
-
9 RepliesNot hating on warlocks, but bubbles and bows are pretty damn useful

Edited by Jeff the Cabal: 9/29/2015 9:55:55 PMI use all 3 main a warlock but stil picked warlock. They all have their purposes but warlocks really don't shine in here. Titans have their bubbles for defense, they have their hammers for heavy damage, hunters are basically orb machines, they also can tether golgoroth which helps a whole bunch.. Warlocks... They kinda just look pretty. Warlocks are still super strong, absolutely no hate against them and they do have their purposes in the raid such as ad control with stormcaller, the self Rez when your team is in a tight situation, and nova bombs because space magic, but they simply don't really serve a great purpose in this raid.

My 308 warlock is crying his eyes out guys stop this
-
7 Replieswarlocks are great for boss encounters. its just the jumping part that kills the warlocks. and possibly the hardest to run the relic for the daughters and oryx. and getting to the raid of course with the jump puzzle with glide

Edited by imgeorgieporgie: 9/29/2015 9:55:26 PMTitans: Weapons of light for increased DPS Hunter:Orbs, orbs, orbs,ORBS Warlock: Ad control with storm caller
I'd say warlock is the least needed but none of them are bad
-
They are all equally good in this one IMO
-
It isn't hate it's just that warlocks don't any particular traits that help a lot
-
Warlock id vote, not sating theyre useless but bubbles and tethering where bosses out.
-
I have lightning. So adds run from me.
-
I see stormcaller as having some utility, mainly for add control. Stormcaller running impossible machines can basically jump, super, clear all adds below, land, zap all remaining adds. This can be pretty useful during Golgoroth on the DPS team.
-
1 ReplyI main hunter and here's my thoughts: Titans are very useful for hammer DPS on Gologroph or bubbles during the Oryx/Warpriest fight Hunters are good for the mobility for jumping up to the relic or tethering bosses for bonus damage Warlocks are great for add duty No class is useless.
-
7 Replieswarlocks rock for hard mode though
-
All of them are great for it. Titans for ward of dawn, hunters for damage, and warlocks for crowd control.
-
Edited by Ali++: 9/29/2015 9:46:12 PMI'll take anyone. If there's a hunter or Titan that sucks at the game and they don't communicate, I'd take a warlock over them. Same goes for any class. Communication!
-
1 ReplyI still feel that sun singer can create the most orbs of all classes (shadow shot very close as well, but depends on grouping of enemies) but the problem is most save their super to self res and even when they res they don't create orbs. Other than orbs and maybe wave clear of storm, warlocks are by far the weakest class for normal
-
How can anyone vote Hunter? We have great add control and damage booster, plus we have our nighthawk for incredible damage on the bosses.
-
5 RepliesI would always pick a lock over a titan.
-
Everyone is useful, but nightstalker and defenders and king
-
3 RepliesNot warlock hate from me, just facts. They put out the least dps of any of the three classes. Hunter has nighthawk, and shadowshot, titan has the hammer. Lighting slingers only spawn like 3 orbs, and has awful range
-
I love my Warlock, but it's just not as useful as a Nightstalker or Defender. Sunbreaker with an Int/Str build and Insurmountable Skullfort could be good for Golgoroth to just try and do as much damage as possible.
-
A poorly played one.
-
Warlocks stormcaller does not have as much damage as Hammer of Sol or Shadowshot tether , + you need to be real close to get a kill and would just generate an orb or 2
