I was wondering which class you thought was the least helpful for the raid.
Edit: Wow lots of Warlock hate.
Edit 2: Wow 2000 replies! Thx for all the opinions.

Warlock's may be the least needed, but they're still a damn solid class
-
None really has a marketable advantage except BubbleBros. Radiance will be a lot more covetable when we wont have revives
-
1 ReplyAre u trying to start a class war?
-
Should've used Subclasses
-
We 4 manned golgoroth because a warlock self revived as soon as we killed it and everyone died at the same time.
-
2 RepliesHunters are best for shadow shot and all the orbs it makes... I mean yeah Ward of Dawn is extremely helpful but tethering an enemy is basically weapons of light

Edited by Infernal_jayed: 9/30/2015 3:43:30 AMI main warlock and it's probably a warlock. Not much it can do that others can't do better. Orb generation was nerfed so night stalker new orb king. Storm trance nice for ads on the ground during golorath. I'm going by subclass. Gear wise I'm almost always top dps on bosses.

1 ReplyEdited by Moist Omelette: 9/30/2015 3:26:56 AMSadly, warlocks EDIT: but when hard raid comes out, we'll be needed. Like we always have
-
4 RepliesProbably Warlock's. Self Rez isn't anywhere near as useful as it was in the previous two raids and while Stormcaller's are great for add clearing, it's not nearly enough utility to give up a spot to let's say, a Defender Titan or Nightstalker Hunter or even a Sunbreaker. They all offer more utility in the form of orb generation AND overall DPS and they're more suited to this raid which NEEDS maximized DPS.
-
4 RepliesI'd say all are worth. My team has a night stalker/ GG ( oryx take down, not like it matters anymore since ToM destroys ), 3 sunsingers ( me included ) or 2 SS and a stormcaller, and a bubble man. So far, we've cleared the raid every week except the first.
-
None of the above? The raid relied more on the coordination of the team more than class.
-
I'm main a Warlock and I know that they are the least important, plus you don't need a Titan or Hunter at all.
-
Edited by Hollow: 9/30/2015 3:36:15 AMRIP warlocks and their bug-spray supers lololol
-
Warlocks can definitely be good, but Nightstalkers and Defenders are so much more useful and make the fights a lot easier.
-
Warlocks are still great, but found melting pot, tether, bubbles etc more usefull
-
History. You're welcome.
-
Don't get me wrong, the warlock can certainly be useful, especially for add clearing, but I'd consider Titans/Hunters more important. My ideal setup would probably be two titans for perpetual weapons of light, 3 hunters for all the tethers and one warlock for add control.
-
7 RepliesOverall, hunters. Titans have two good subclasses, as do warlocks. While hunters only have NS Although i would personally want two of each class, specifically: 2 stormclers for excellent mobility and add control, 1 defender for bubble and a sunbreaker/defender depending on the situation, and 2 NSs for constant smoke and tether. This raid is the least bias towards any class, i think that really any class is viable in this raid
-
Im a warlock and they are the worst. Im not saying they're bad, but they're not as good as titans and hunters.
-
They're all equally helpful, but I'd say titans and hunters are the most helpful since warlocks can't tether or make a bubble.
-
For the normal raid the warlock. But let them wait for hard raid with no revives
-
I main warlock, and I'm saying warlocks the worst. But in VoG, Mmm they are the best
-
I just closed my eyes and tapped
-
Its not hate, but between the 3 classes warlock is the weakest.
-
Things have changed since VoG first dropped.
-
3 RepliesNone are the worst. Titans are great with bubbles, hunters are great with everything nightstalker, and warlocks are great at crowd control. However, out of the three, while I love and main warlocks, they are probably the worst since they can't help the team with boss damage
