What is the worst Class for the Raid?
I was wondering which class you thought was the least helpful for the raid.
Edit: Wow lots of Warlock hate.

Did the raid with 4 warlocks and 2 titans. Worked just fine

I main a warlock and have done the raid three times. I think while warlocks are the weakest, it doesn't render them useless. Being able to self res during the oryx phase when he needs to be staggered can be pretty handy and storm trance is great at clearing ads during the golgoroth fight.

Warlocks can do some great enemy control with stormcaller while generating a good amount of orbs at the same time. Even my friends self revive saved us when we killed deathsingers at the last second but it still killed us. Hunters are great for their ability to make it so all hits are critical, making most yellow health bar enemies and some bosses a breeze. Titans are great for weapons of light or armor of light during bosses like oryx or golgoroth, or any boss in general. But yeah even though I main a warlock even I can agree that Titans and hunters are more usefull, but that doesn't make warlocks useless.

All are useful in the raid. Hunters for tether or celestial nighthawk. Titans weapons of light or hammer to clear adds. Warlocks are great at clearing adds on golgorath and sisters.

19 RepliesI see a lot of posts on here claiming the DPS is with the WoL and the Shadowshot and you are not wrong. Your supers are a buff, they make the whole team so more DPS, not just you. So claiming that a warlock is useless just because their super isn't a DPS boost is null because we get boosted by your precious supers. Also after you have cast your supers you still need to inflict actual damage on the boss, something a lot of you are clearly struggling with. Signed A Warlock who always tops the damage chart in the new raid bosses

4 RepliesWhen it came time to push atheon everyone wanted a warlock, or that moment when a warlock single handedly saved a year one nightfall. Let's face it hunters were the least useful up until the beginning part of crota, and are now finally useful in ttk and if you rely on weapons of cruch to beat the raid then you are exactly the person we don't need on our raid team. Then there's all you hypocrites who say self rez is a cruch but are over joyed when we save your ass from failing. You hate the one consistently useful class but whatever can't fix stupid I guess.

Each plays a valuable role, Titans for weapons of light, warlock for stormcaller for ads in the oryx shadow dome thing, and hunters for the arrow for oryx (yes, it works.) Just stop the hate. Love what you play, respect other for what they love to play.

The entirety of TTK raid bosses are bullet sponge dps races locked behind recycled raid mechanics that keep you from progressing if a single person screws up, the game bugs, or latency from a single fireteam member screws the rest of the team...so in all reality, all classes are essential. Nightstalkers and Defenders are needed for the insane dps boost and orb generation. Warlocks for dps and to kill trash mobs. Decent machine gun and sniper are pretty much a necessity for bosses too...rocket launcher if you are on trash mob control...but thats all pve stuff...with the new sub classes, vanilla raids are pretty much easy mode...as for pvp...that's another post...
