Why does everyone like 1000 yard stare so much it's ugly and you can't even get good perks or stats on it...

The one I have is perfect for the raid. High dps output. And more impact and stability than hereafter.

Why cant you get any good perks on it? Which legendary sniper does then, according to you?

I like Stillpiercer. Maybe it's just my RNG but 1000 Yard Stare just doesn't roll well for me.

It gives me a chance to have the radar while farming Helium for my sword and solar kills using gunslinger. And perfectionist comes into play when I need it trust me XD

Yeah ok, it has an utitility, but not one that really helps in actual combat (not enough anyway, kinda like third eye). For that perk to work, you need 4 shots and 4 kills and 4 crits. How often will that happen, you think? A very situational perk.

Alrighty then ;) You were claiming one could not get good perks on it, and then you called the stillpiercer er better, hence this whole discussion. Obviously you are allowed to have a personal preference ;) even tho the stock sniper you get from the quests already has decent pve stats

Quests? Anyways, The new sniper model is really ugly imo... I just prefer Stillpiercer over other new stuff. Were I to grab a 1000YS with Firefly.... We could talk...

That's all it is. I spend a lot of time on the game. You're probably better than I am. Just play at your pace and enjoy yourself. You'll get everything you want on due time bud.

Yeah I know all parts in and out For some reason it's been hard for my fire teams to stagger oryx I use 3 black spindle shots then switch to primary

Use a LMG. Sniper for ogres, and LMG for Oryx only. Let each gun have its job so ammos not a problem.

As long as DPSing the boss is not an issue, runner can use sword np, it helps. But if it is, then you need to put on a lmg and help more with oryx dps. You shouldn't be killing that knight alone anyway.

I always have too as it's a stretch for my team to down ogres before his chest opens So I am all alone on Knight

Edited by Day Sh0t: 9/29/2015 4:20:04 PMYour team needs to prep more, easy fix... -Get level 295+ (Everybody) -Buy 1000 yard stare from Vanguard Quartermaster (Basically made for the raid) -Buy year two Thunderlord if not using an exotic primary. Or another great LMG. -Be more on point, No time should be wasted waiting on others. One should kill ogres ASAP, help with the one across from em, then when they see relic runner grabbing that relic, run off platform and rush to help with the ogres in the back! Then go mess up that knight together! - With two people sniping an ogre from spawn, not only does it flinch the ogre and prevent him from running to middle, it should also kill him in just 3 shots from each player. They are easy to kill. After week one, no one should be spending 3-4 hours on boss fight. Everyone should know what to do. If you're spending that long on a fight, you need to figure out who's not pulling their weight or communicating. Because then your team is flawed.

Going to have to LFG a 295+ Group. I may sound rude but my time is precious. I love spending time with my son and going to sleep at a decent hour. So I always LFG an emblem squad. Every player must have emblem. Makes getting this done real fast each attempt. Id suggest finding a clan for raiding. I see you're in one, but if yours isn't helping you get what you need done, done. Then find another active one. Why don't you join up with us. The Warminds. The leader helped me with raid. I'm new here, and since I'm here. I can help you out. Join up bud.

Cause if you lose a guy or so when its time to dps boss, there's but soo much a sword primary can do
