Is anyone else disgusted by the quality of rocket launchers in this DLC?

I'm also talking PvE here. I don't use Rockets in crucible.[spoiler]Corrective Measure since '84[/spoiler]Perks are universal. I don't care about your awesome roll on your Smolder or Choleric Dragon cause they're garbage launchers. [b]How many rockets you carry doesn't matter, because a roll with tripod or field scout will max that out when combined with rocket ammo boots. [/b][i]Getting tracking added to your rocket launcher with cluster bombs because you have the Taikonaut is great and all, but [b]IF YOUR BLAST RADIUS AND VELOCITY ARE LOW, IT'S STILL A SHITTY ROCKET LAUNCHER[/b][/i]
The only good rockets appear to be The Vertigo and the generic Suros version you can get from the Gunsmith.
Just for clarification. A rocket launcher is to deliver splash DPS to an area. The most important stat is Blast Radius. How big the blast is. The next most important stat is Velocity. How fast the blast gets where it's going. If one of these is low, it's a shit launcher end of story. Doesn't matter what perks you got, or what exotics help it.

The Hezen Vengeance mirv mini rounds are huge dps - second only to gally because no tracking. Well taikonaut, you've now leveled the playing field! If only HV could be ascended / infused...

1 ReplyMax Velocity is only important for Pvp. It's actually better to have low veloc in pve so the tracking works better. My launcher is perfect, gg

I'm still using my Y1 weps for PvP, but Supercell, Jade Rabbit, raid shotgun, Thunderlord and Truth are very good.

I have the Vertigo for Trials. It's pretty good statistically, even if it can only carry three rockets.

FWC vendor RL with Taikonaut seems pretty good. A decently rolled Ash Factory would hold it's own, as well.

The only one I got that tracks is the King Raid. I was days away from committing to a Truth just so I had a tracking launcher. They are really bad in this DLC. The heavy machine guns aren't much better either.

I just got a year 2 Truth. I have a Smoldering with good perks as well for when I want to use a different exotic. Haven't had that happen yet though lol.
