So after using marks to level up my year one Hawkmoon to year two on Wednesday Xur decided to sell it. Ok that's fine, but just completed a heroic strike and Hawkmoon level 290 dropped while I had my upgraded year 1 Hawkmoon (lvl280) equipped.. I was under the impression that you couldn't get the same exotics you already had. I understand that the game may considers them as different items entirely but i'm not sure if this is intended. So we may hold off on upgrading all these old exotic weapons.
