I usually focus on intellect and discipline. In what setup/situation is strength of more benefit than supers or grenades? Just asking. I am always a bit disappointed when I roll a cool new piece of gear but it has Strength on it.
Edit: It would be cool if strength also boosted your sprint speed. That would rock, especially in something like Rift.
Edit 2: this is the most positive post I have ever seen! Nothing but people sharing strategies on how to kick ass, no matter what class they play. Lovin' it!

Not on the new subclasses. Hell Melee for Titan has been abandoned in PvE until Melting Point was a thing. They made Strength useful now.
-
Strength is great for melee focused stormcallers (Monte Carlo, Claws, and the other perks that boost your melees)
-
I really do not think there is that much of a difference really no matter what you equip. Although I do tend to ignore strength
-
1 ReplySometimes. I've found that using the new hunter ahamkara (spelling? lol) gauntlets that give you an extra melee and reload on melee damage could be very synergistic with Nightstalker smoke bombs.
-
Its usefull for quicks vanish blink strikes, and quick smokebombs for hunters, and quick shields with sunsingers
-
Dat melting point doe...
-
I keep all my talents balanced, though on some occasions higher Intellect works too.
-
Depends on which build you have, it's useful for sunsinger with two melee's with the shield, same for defender titan.
-
-
The melee charge is more important than ever with the new hunter/titan classes.
-
Strength is great for a blade dancer in PVE. The more blink strike, the better. Gets you out of hairy situations and its clutch
-
I run intellect/strength on my sunbreaker. Hit enemy with melting point, spam with hammer of sol, while tethered by shadowshot = easy encounters. Moral of the story: strength is good.
-
You can make a strength build with claws of ahamkara and army of one. Plus with monte carlo youll be flame sheilding for days :)
-
1 Replynot so much now ttk is out. before that i would just dismantle
-
Not with the Sunbreaker. Melting Point is great and with Insurmountable Skullforts 2x Melee Charges bosses drop fast.
-
No For pvp I use throwing knives a lot Smoke is good for pve too
-
Not for Nightstalker.
-
1 ReplyAs a sunsinger I dont give a rats ass about str. 300 discipline is a must
-
Strength is good for night stalker since more smoke bombs. Discipline isn't good since all nades suck for the class.
-
I like to be disciplined
-
I kinda do, I have a set up on my Titan where if I run defender and have lots of weak mobs in a strike, I can pop around 56-124 orbs in one strike, it's insane. I usually only get around 60 Cus my allies are using their supers but yeah.
-
No unless it is for my warlock more smoke bombs are really good and melting point is really good for small phases of dps on a boss
-
No, I love running intellect and strength on my Nightstalker because of the invis grenade melee attack.
-
I only use str on my warlock if he is sunsinger
-
I've always liked my stat rolls to be discipline and strength, especially with nightstalker
-
7 RepliesI only like strength on my Nightstalker with the Sealed Ahamkara Grasps. So many smoke bombs :D
