Why do you hate valve games?
Seeing a lot of hate for my favorite game developers lately, I don't understand... Why do you hate it??

1 ReplyThey don't make games anymore, they don't need to. Steam and all their present games rack in so much cash, they don't need to worry about. All their games are mediocre at best, but they just get overblown for some reason

7 RepliesYou know why? Because they don't freaking care about gamers. They are spending so much time on Steam, TF2 and Dota that they have become money hungry. What do the games have I common? They are P2W games. Steam? Most money they have ever seen. If they cared about the fans of their games they would make real games, not little free games that are slowly dieing. They would learn to count past 2, and finally finish series that are going on 11 and 7 years. But no. They are just rolling in the cash with steam and those games[spoiler]Sorry for rant. 2 RepliesThey don't. Valve hates THEM. But seriously, they probably hate valve games because they have to buy shit in order to get better. Take tf2 for example: yes, you can sometimes find stuff on the ground, but to get the really good stuff? Payments: valve makes them pay for stuff that will make their characters look cooler and have better weapons. Personally, idrc cause I can't play half the valve games because they're mostly on computer, and the computer I use can't function those Games yet

Well. They haven't real eased half life 3, portal 3, counter strike 3, and team fortress 3. Other than that they're great.

PC developer really, and the games they develop aren't really my cup of tea. I don't hate Valve at all, they've made good games, just not my favourite genre(s) of games. My favourite genre is role-playing especially JRPGs, so, you can see there is probably a large contrast in styles and genres.

If you finish Half Life 2 Episode 2 youll understand why there needs to be a new game in the franchise. Other people just like to yell HALF LIFE 3 CONFIRMED to look like theyre fans of the series

Edited by Tartan 118: 9/29/2015 11:04:42 PMI don't. They've made some of my favourite games of all time. I think a lot of people begrudge them focusing so much on Steam, TF2, and DOTA2 these days, instead of the extremely-anticipated prequel to one of my favourite shooter series ever.
