Very, very noob question about Legendaries and Exotics
So...lately I've been running a lot of Prison of Elders and just recently ran Crota's End and I am confused on why the exotic I got, and all of the legendaries that dropped were Level 20. It made them so obsolete to my other weapons. Keeping in mind, I'm level 40 and completed all expansion packs (the story at least), how can I get higher level drops?

I can't believe nobody else said this. ARMSDAY. U go to the gunsmith and place an order for a 280 gun that will be delivered the next Wednesday. It's like 2,500 glimmer I believe.
