How do you activate your self-rez if your body isn't there?
Edit: Yes, it's a game. It's not real. But when I think about it, how does a Sunsinger Warlock Self-resurrect him/herself when they've been killed? (...or vaporized, haha)
I mean, think about it. You're dead. You can't think, you can't speak, the idea of speaking your mind ceases to exist. You can't even physically move.
You're gone! You can't be like, "Oh crap, I'm dead. No worries, I'll self-rez", because you can't even say or do ANY of that if you're dead. This has nothing to do with your ghost. It's all about your super.
If you have a counter action to this comment, here's one thing you can't explain: Fusion Rifles vaporizing you.

1 ReplyThe Grimoire says they pluck themselves from blackness like the Phoenix of old. There doing things jut like your ghost, they grab available mass and recreate the body.

Your ghost stands by for revive. Do you not see your ghost every time you die? Warlock just use their will to revive themselves instead of another guardian

Ghost uses light to reconstruct guardians bodies. Supers are light built up. Warlocks use the same process ghosts do, they simply use their built up light, not ghosts.

Your mind, soul, and will remain intact. You use these in coalescence with your Light to pull your particulate body together with the remaining energy being released in a flurry of heat and light.

When you did the Invective bounty Ikora told us that she wanted us to do crucible instead of being a "pool of particles waiting to be resurrected". She obviously refers to us dying in strikes and waiting for our teammates to revive us. I think us warlocks force these particles together with the flames of Radiance But that's just a theory [spoiler]A GAME THEORY[/spoiler]

4 RepliesI always thought guardians and their ghosts shared a special bond, maybe allowing dead guardians live through their ghosts after death. More scientifically however during the French Revolution people noticed eyes and eyelids moving after they were decapitated from the rest of the body. This could just be nerve related or people could still be conscious for 5-15 seconds after death. This would be perfect for the sunsinger because he/she could wait for the perfect time to come back to life.

OK so ghost men and ghost women have what they call ghost sex. And that's where resurrected guardians come from.
