So I currently have two versions of the same song.
When I click on the properties tab, one song displays 128kbps while the other displays 328kbps.
Is there a difference (in audio quality) between them other than the used disc space?

As I say, the lowest i'd dip to is 192 kps.
Another question, can I change the kbps without having to re-download all my songs? Will the quality change if I convert a song from 128 to 228?
As far as I know, no you can't. Just delete the current 12 kbps and download songs with a higher bit rate in future. I could be wrong.
Posted by: RockinPunk93 The higher the rate, the better quality it is. But you won't really be able to tell unless you have a high end ($400+) speaker setup.
I beg to differ. Audio quality. In terms of MP3s, 128 kbps is generally considered sub standard. I'd never download anything 128. 380 is very good quality. Uses a few extra MB, but is worth it, delete your 128 kbps version. [Edited on 06.04.2009 9:30 AM PDT]
