Very, very noob question about Legendaries and Exotics
So...lately I've been running a lot of Prison of Elders and just recently ran Crota's End and I am confused on why the exotic I got, and all of the legendaries that dropped were Level 20. It made them so obsolete to my other weapons. Keeping in mind, I'm level 40 and completed all expansion packs (the story at least), how can I get higher level drops?

8 RepliesYear 1 content (Prison of Elders and Crotas End) will drop Year 1 loot, or Level 20 loot. You'll need to do Year 2 content (Nightfall Strikes, Kings Fall, Quests etc.) to earn Level 40 loot.
