I'd say its made specifically for fire born warlocks as they are setup to maintain super until death and this weapon is optimal with super charged.

No. That is if you are asking if it works while in Radiance. Your super bar has to be 100% full for it to work.

He's not asking while in radiance he's asking if he can run fireborn and just hold his super in forever and get the benefits

Well, if that's the case it works with any subclass. I played a game last night where I held onto my storm trance the entire game, and ended up getting 44 kills with my Tlaloc and shotty. Plus like 5 sword kills.

It does work with any subclass as the perk description says...

I don't think you get what I'm saying, but whatever. This gun is beast when super charged. No need to use super at all most of the time. Only when in a pinch, or facing large groups.
