Best sidearm?
So, what do you guys/gals personally feel is the most effective sidearm?
Thus far I have tried the jaberhakke (vanguard) the crucible one and the new monarchy one... As well as vestian dynasty and *cough* dregs promise.
I believe at this point, in terms of crucible at least, the jaberhakke is the best sidearm. I'm not sure if I missed any legendaries but if I did and you think they're worth trying, let me know!
Also, if anyone tested the taken king and got a chance to use the iron wreath, was it any good?
Edit: I think the Hakke increased muzzle velocity might be the thing giving the jaberhakke the slight advantage in my books

I've been hearing good things about the JabberHakke-D.

I've always had an affinity for my JabberHakke-D. It just feels better when I'm shooting it (it might be a combination of my rolls, but the recoil feels real and controllable) whereas the Havoc Pigeon for me almost seems to cut out in firing for fractions of a second after good, steady bursts. The JabberHakke has always served me best in all situations (even without max upgrades, which I forgot to purchase for it).

Nobody seemed to mention "Queens Choice".That sidearm is hands down the best to have taking up your special slot.If you get arc..... ....Just pray for the poor souls shocked to a fine blue dust and drifting away in the wind! xD

I got a 315 Ironwreath that I have since bumped to 320 bc i can wreck with this puppy good perks also and i know all are sinilar but i have tried all of them and still prefer it. Idk maybe with the april update i may give the dregs promise year 2 another try

From experience, Jabberhake has much more aim assist that HP.

I've been looking at all of these on Bungie's Armory, and all of them are very similar. They all have a maximum magazine of 18, an impact of 5, and 100 rate of fire. All are Hakke sidearms, which mean the bullets fired are hitscan, whereas Vestian Dynasty and Dreg's promise have travel time, similar to pulse rifles. There are slight differences in all of these weapons in the range, stability, and reload. JabberHakke-D: 38 range, 80 stability, 87 reload Conviction II: 39 range, 78 stability, 86 reload Havoc Pigeon: 40 range, 81 stability, 85 reload Ironwreath-D: 37 range, 82 stability, 88 reload This being stated, all of these sidearms can get the exact same perks, so all of them can be equally good considering that these one and two point differences don't make much of a difference, and any weaknesses can be covered with the correct perks. i got a havoc pigeon with zone moment feeding frenzy and high caliber rounds and its at 307 it dropped for me from nightfall(of all things) ive been lookin for a good sidearm with good perks and i found one! the high caliber rounds really dominate in close quarter situations and feeding frenzy helps with fast realodin after a kill

The Vendor roll on the Havoc Pigeon is amazing But I just got an Iron wreath with rangefinder hammered forge and outlaw I enjoy

I absolutely swear by my Havoc Pigeon. I completely changed from sniping to pistoling. Mine has range finder, hot swap, and high caliber rounds (alternatively hammer forged for even more range). The perks make for a high velocity pistol that always hits fast regardless of the range. It's perfect paired with the mida to close in and quickly clean up ever since the recent update that speeds up the switch time. It's flexible enough to fire while jumping around corners and at even medium range you will best people's primaries. You do around 45 headshot damage at decent range, it really makes quick work of everyone! I really lucked out with the perks :).

All sidearms other than vestian dynasty and Dregs Promise have increased muzzle velocity from Hakke sidearm.

I like the jabberhakke and the havoc pigeon if they have rolls for fast reload and damage boosts. I ended up dismantling a few of them to level up my stillpiercer because sidearms don't really fit my play style.

I'm sure iron wreath is a beast but the vanguard one is good. Got crowd control and cascade with an 18 round magazine. Solid sidearm.
