I agree, when I heard about the shaders from friends, I thought it would have functioned more like how the color picker works in Elder Scrolls Online. Destiny has been really disappointing with its aesthetics overall between the simple armor, rudimentary color shaders, and nonexistant customization of weapons, vehicles, and ships. Take the color options from warframe and combine them with ESO and you have a perfect game.
