Gologorth nerf?
I've been trying not since this Tuesday even with two people who defeated already I can't finish him he is the boss of all bullet sponges
Edit: I did it I beat him but while he was enraged almost fully blinded got boots!

3 RepliesLiterally, the easiest part of the raid. the ships and jumping sections are harder. carrying the stones to get in are harder. signing into destiny is harder.

We can get golgoroth in 2 cycles. All u have to do is have two people with snipers keep the gaze. If done correctly he never moves unless we want him to. Make sure ur using weapons or a void tether and takes no more then 10 minutes. It's all about dps. Snipers and shotguns even fusions are good for him for the 4 standing in the goop

You are doing it wrong. Me and my clan had problems with it too. Spent hours getting nowhere. Then we found this. Beat him on second run. This method saves the wasted time of trying to switch his gaze back and forth.

If you have a high impact sniper it tears through his health I would recommend black spindle that thing is a beast against golgoroth

People just have to have good weapons, otherwise it's basically unbeatable

I got 7mil on my Todd during yesterday's raid, rest of team only had to pull 8mil between then, he went down at beginning of third run

Just have people with good weapons, I had a 299 1000 yard stare doing 63k crit and when he was tethered I was doing 83k crit, with my LMG I was doing 1700 per crit shot with 73 rounds in each drum. Just need good weapons

1 ReplyHe's really not a bullet sponge. At all. If you have four people who can deal enough damage to him he goes down quick. You just need to have two people who are solid with the gaze mechanic and who are able to successfully pass it back and forth. It took us about six tries last night and we defeated him with a lot of time left on his enrage timer. None of us had ever faced him before. Teamwork and communication are key.

Did it twice this week for the first time. It was easy, as was the rest of the raid. Unfortunately our team fell apart at the deathsingers because a couple guys just couldn't figure it out.

he's probably the easiest boss in there? Lol There really isn't much in there to stop you from beating him other than not enough DPS

He's not [i]that[/i] hard. If you're dying its because the people in your group either don't have enough experience or there's a lack of communication.

So they invited me to my very first KF raid. Keep in mind, I was 288 light and another guy was 286 light, also 4 of us where brand new to the raid. Turns out I joined and they where mid way through, and they where at phogoroth, we actually killed him in 3-4 wipes.. Wasn't that bad to be honest.. Maybe if a Nerf was to come, he should have slightly lower health. I would recommend snipers and machine guns. Snipers are very good with him. Hereafter did 40,000 damage to his core.

1 ReplyOur strat: two guys juggle haze, one guy on ads duty with a crowd control weapon like supercell a bubble Titan and high impact sniper rifles. We took him down last night.

Takes 2 rounds of bubble to kill him. Usually kill him on the first go. If you are on the Xbox one we can kill him sometime. My gt is Qore 4.
