Why? This makes next to zero sense to me. You guys have to know that it's possible to get it right back to, or nearly to 310 after you nerf it. And if knowing this, you still decide to nerf it anyway as a way to cost us materials, then shame on you.
I have no issue if you want to nerf the next round that drops, or change it so that the blueprint for it only gives you a 280/290 Spindle, but don't punish the people that spent the time to get this for the simple fact it was a 310 exotic this go around.

Waaaaait... Can you buy black spindle and touch of malice from your collections at 310 attack? I need to check asap

Edited by ThEReApR: 9/25/2015 7:36:02 PMNo. You can buy the Spindle at 300. What you do is infuse the blueprint one with a legendary special to get it to 300. Then, infuse that special with the 310 Spindle which will get it at or close to 310. If/when they nerf the 310 Spindle, you have a legendary that they can't change at or around 310. Then all you have to do after the nerf is get a 300 special that was infused earlier, buy a Spindle from the blueprint, infuse that Spindle to get it to 300, and then infuse it with the legendary that should be 300+, and viola! A 300+ Spindle or any special you want above 300 for that matter. Sure it costs a lot of resources, but it can be done, and that is the part that doesn't make sense to me. Either they let it be, or the become dicks and force us to consume all those resources for their screw up.

So instead you propose to punish those who couldn't do it first time around. That makes no sense. Stop being an entitled shit
-
sure i feel a little entitled i earned the damn gun at 310.

Idiocy at its finest right here ^ Bungie made a mistake, and in doing so admitted it and are now rectifying that mistake. What doesn't make sense is that they are punishing the people that spent the time to get it, knowing that even if they do decide to nerf the ones that dropped, that we can just as easily get back above 300, but now they are forcing us to consume resources that we may not necessarily want to, or have. Have you ever gone to a store and found something with an incorrect price tag on it? I have. And guess what stores do in 99% of those cases. They let you have it at the discounted price because they screwed up, and they end up eating what they lost. Then they go back and fix the prices on the other items on the shelf, and everyone else pays the normal price. Same kind of situation and logic apply here. Am I proud that I spent the time to get it? You bet. Do I think I'm entitled? Not in the least. I think you need to go get a dictionary and lookup "entitlement", because you obviously have no clue what the word means and how it remotely applies to my original post.

Except you believe you are ENTITLED to a better version of a gun because you did it the first time it was possible due to a glitch. This is a game not real life. It was a programming error and they are fixing it. So deal with it or stop playing. They don't owe you anything for their screwup. When I ran shops if my employees put a better set of tires on a car then intended I would call to explain the situation and offer then some sort of service for free with it for their trouble. Thats what bungie is doing here. They are pretty much giving you a weapon to boost another to make your black spindle higher again. Ps I seriously love the butthurt over this. It's a non existent weapon in a game, which you can pretty much get back for the cost of some materials of which we have plenty. But let's as a community complain because we did sooooo much work to get I

Oh geez... I can tell the stupid is strong with you, and there is no amount of bringing you back from it. I'm sorry you weren't able to get the gun, and that your grasp of the English language is not what it could or should be. Since you don't understand and your reading comprehension is that of a third grader I can't bring myself to continue to explain to you that what I'm discussing is not entitlement. If they nerf it, they nerf it, there is nothing I, nor anyone can do about it. It's how they handle the nerf that is going to be the issue. I'm not some kid that is flying off the handle threatening to quit over this, so don't imply that's what I'm doing, or suggest that's what I do. It is what it is.

Edited by Cypher02xd: 9/25/2015 7:57:39 PMThe stupid thing is what is presumably an adult getting upset over a nonexistant weapon in a game. Its ok though that's your prerogative. If you don't understand then ask your wife/sister/mother to explain it to you. I will just be over here enjoying my black spindle and ready to infuse it with my 308 legendary. Edit just for fun since you can't bring yourself to understand entitlement: ENTITLED- believing oneself to be inherently deserving of privileges or special treatment. As in you believe you are ENTITLED (or deserving of) a higher attack weapon then intended because of a glitch
-
I'm not upset, and that, again, is where your lack of reading comprehension comes in. I guess it's time to put you on mute because unintelligible comments from someone that makes it seem like I'd be having a better conversation with a brick wall just doesn't make sense anymore.

Well yeah. I earned it. Those who couldn't get it done. That's their fault

exactly

This post says it all, Deej please respond
