Prior to that it had a HUGE hitbox for some reason. Back then if you could aim you could spam fire like thorn and hit "headshots" for days. ("Headshots" because it was more like two feet to the right of their head shots)

No version of Hawkmoon that I've owned...I had three of the Year Ones, dismantled a fourth, and bought my first Year Two this morning....has EVER let you get away with spamming shots. Spammed shots with Hawkmoon MISS....a LOT....even from relatively close range. THORN was the hand cannon with the huge hit box that you could spam like crazy and still kill stuff. Spam HM, and you'll hit nothing but air.
