I've played Destiny since day 1, bought the Dark Below & the House of Wolves, and have overall enjoyed the game. However the months after the House of Wolves was released I took a break from Destiny so I wouldn't dry out. Now with the Taken King release (people are saying it is the best thing that has happened to Destiny yet) is it worth paying the $40? What I'm trying to ask you guys is the Taken King good (list of why what makes it good or not good), and is it worth the $40.
Please don't just say "It's awesome dude!", please give legit reasons
1 ReplyThe quest system is amazing SWORDS Lots of new exotics Plenty of story missions, the main story unlocks (I think) 8, which are all pretty cool. As you do sidequest you unlock more missions, like I did a quest for variks and got 3 new missions. Raid better than VoG 3 new strikes, (4 for PS4) they all feel unique and different, they are my new favorites, not as bullet spongy. Dreadnaughts fun, you run around finding random hidden chest that require keys, if it weren't for YouTube it would require a lot of exploring. Court of Oryx feels like a PoE without the annoying first rounds, just bosses which can be done with randoms you find out on patrol, the only LFG you might do is Tier 3 which gives out a different boss each week. We think there are at least 3. PvP feels more fun, snipers don't final round, blink is a bit harder, autos are good... The Pulses are best right now but a lot of things are close behind. Shotguns are still pretty good and fusions.. Well I haven't tried one yet. Rift is fun Mayhem is fun I've only done one Zone Control Legendary marks are good IGN gave 9/10 Gamespot gave 8/10 And I give 11/10
