There was the attempts statistic & the completion statistic. The attempts refer to popularity, your statistic of completions refers to the difficulty. People were just introduced & learning the mechanics, and Oryx isn't a pushover like his son.

He's actually pretty easy to beat with the right team. The people having trouble are most likely either underleveled, don't have the mechanics down or have one or more incompetent players.
-
The thing is, I could deal with all that on Crota and carry said un-knowledgable/under leveled players, I'll never be able to do that on Oryx. It will always require at least 5 players that can take care of themselves.
-
I personally think this is a good idea. Everyone gains experience instead of people looking for a specific class to play important roles. Give it time. The longer TTK is out, the more experienced everyone will become. Even if people can't finish the entire raid, they'll get gear to help them on the next run. It's true that carrying people is heavily reduced by this raid, especially towards the end, but it makes the wins more satisfying and fortifies the teamwork aspect of the game.

Yeah, and that's exactly what I love about this raid. Its well thought out design requires teamwork. Of course things get easier when everyone has a better understanding of the mechanics, the point I'm trying to convey is that players have to pull there own weight with this raid, and that's what makes it awesome.

He will be in a week or two

I disagree, Crota has been soloed. Hell, I would 2 man hard with my friend every reset. Oryx will always take a minimum of 5 players to beat. Sure when players know what to do the fight gets easier, that's a given, but I'll have to rely on the other players as opposed to carrying them.
-
You honestly think the raid will stay as frustrating as it is at this moment? All I can say is currently the only part we wipe at is Oryx . The rest is easy now considering we practiced so many times learning it last week, lol.
-
I never said it was frustrating, what I'm trying to convey is that the King's fall raid will always require cooperation to complete, teamwork. Crota was so poorly designed it never needed that. Of course things get easier when everyone has had time to get an understanding of the mechanics, that goes without saying. My point put simply is I won't be able to carry players through King's fall like I did with Crota, and I love that.

That jumping part after the ogre is a pain though..overall it's a huge step forward.
