Capcom do this in street fighter so does mortal kombat you if to buy some of the fighters in order to play them all although I agree and I hate how they give away free dlc to new players and give them infuse light just takes the joy out of play their game and makes us day one people unhappy.

CAPCOMS products aren't unplayable if you don't buy DLC btw. They even have specific lobby setups for people that don't buy. This is unprecedented and blunt greed. Destiny will not last 10 year's.
