Do the quest line for Variks(it unlocks after you do Petra's)... You get Gemini which I think is pretty good... Otherwise, Hung Jury from Dead Orbit is good, or check my Warlock for another good one

Is it just me but do you find the sights for Gemini to be a bit awkward?

A little bit but it makes the weapon feel a little more CQB
