I leave for two weeks to wisconsin, and then I come back and all this???!!! This is the best return home evah! Firefight is what I have been waiting for forever. You guys really pulled out all the stops. I wasn't even expecting anything from you guys at E3, let alone a new game!!! I was sure you'd all be busy workin on stuff, but you had other plans, and boy am I excited now. You just saved E3 for me.

This sounds so awsome, BUT if bungie doesn't change the gameplay and make it differen't then the past halo games, i think people will get bored of halo. I am not saying that the halo gameplay is bad, i am just saying that i believe people will be bored of playing a fifth halo game that has the same gameplay as the other 4. Personally, if bungie doesnt make this game have a much differen't gameplay then the previose halo games, i will be very disappointed.

So are you guys finally going to acknowledge the other spartans in Reach or will they get the shaft yet again? and what was it you said about ODST not being 60 bucks?

Comming up Next in the Series if i have to predict them are Halo: Ghosts of Onyx Halo: Contact Harvest Halo: Covenant Origins Halo: Spatan Birth again just spit balling, any would put me into an extreme happy mode some games with the other spartans in it would be awsome, like with the early missions with spartan 117 and his crew before they were all seperated, takin over ships, fighting on an asteroid base, eeeeee just thinking about it makes me gitty

Can't wait for ODST and the three as yet unreleased maps; Citadel, Heretic and Longshore.. The news that Bungie has another project 'Halo: Reach' means one thing to me.. We'll all have something else to look forward to when the year is quietening down.. ODST has been released and we, the halo community, are looking for more.! Can't wait to see what form it comes in.. Thanks for this news Bungie, you've got myself and many other people excited about this new offering.

Originally, I wanted Halo: ODST for the sake of the possibility of getting recon. But as I saw footage about it from E3 and found out about the Halo: Reach beta, I list this game as much more than a huge expansion. Its a practical necessity for anyone who plays Halo.

Man, this is just fantastic. Any one else notice the halo death respawn beeps before the drop pod was released. That was cool. I still can't wait! I've already pre-ordered and super excited!

I definitely wasn't expecting ODST to look like this. it looks like a totally different game!! Well not much but it looks like it improved, but not only that. Bungie also releases Halo 3: Reach in 2010?? Jeez this was definitely unexpected!

Oh poo... I thought surely Bungie would announce a new IP by now. MS got you by the reins again? I can't wait to play with my drop troopers and then on Reach's very surface, but I'm seriously getting sick and tired of this halo baloney. Where's the Bungie of old that brought us the awe and wonder of a creative mythos like Myth and Marathon?

ODST looks fun. I've grown tired of the standard Halo formula. Interestingly enough, I'm actually sort of glad for the unexpected direction that the game is going in. It feels like Halo is evolving (no pun intended) with me as my tastes change. ODST looks to be a lot deeper than regular Halo 3 ever could have been, which is just my cup of tea. Also, graphically, the game seems to look a lot better than standard Halo 3. Maybe it's the lightning, or the colors, or just the fact that it's the trailer, but the game [i]really does[/i] look fantastic.

um....... OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that was AWESOME! i have 3 questions though, whats with the recon helmet ODST(the helmet looks to big for the body), why does that brute have a normal shield instead of power armour, and why is the hunter green?
