redo sword quest petition: sign here
Come here looking to get your sword back? Quest line not working properly? They tell you you're shit out of luck? Write a comment here and like it so everyone can see it. Maybe Bungie will give us another chance. What's the worse that can happen?
Everyone reading this, please bump this thread every time you get a chance. It gets buried a lot and I see people having these same issues that never come across this thread.
Mods, Please show this to someone from Bungie that has some say so. I'd expect a reply as well. I'm not going anywhere.

YAY!!! Bungie fixed this!!! I'm actually waiting for the update to download right now, but I read in the update thing they are making it so you can buy the legendary swords if you've finished the exotic bounty. This should fix problems for a lot of us in this thread, not sure about the guys who got more than one of the same type exotic sword though, they may have wasted the exotic quest of a character?

1 ReplyI moved my legendary sword to another character to level it up more quickly and when I moved it back, the quest did not activate. What do I do? Can you please put the quest in the abandoned quest kiosk?

I just dismantled my sword by accident and I was just about done reforging it into exotic sword, can I get it back in anyway at all our do I have start from the beginning of the story as in a new character ???

2 RepliesI don't understand why everyone is complaining about having to start a character over and saying it's 100 of hours to level them up... that is bs... all you have to do is put all your equipment you have on your character in the vault... start over, level them up to 40 and I did this in like 10 hours of game play... then once level 40 all that equipment can be re-equpped making your light level exactly what it is now... this will help with getting a new sword whether you deleted it or accidentally picked the same sword as another character and want all 3 or whatever other reason you missed something or screwed something up... hell I know people that restart their characters just to do the raid multiple times a week... it's super easy and doesn't take 100s of hours unless you suck. The only kicker is your 3 classes will probably not be fully leveled for a while... they take longer to level then the character themselves, esp all 3 of them... so focus on your favorite one atleast until you get your jump you want/need, your reborn, you weapons of light, etc... Today I deleted my legendary sword on my character doing the last quest to get my Exotic sword and I will love to know if there's anyway I can get it back or is it something I can do lucky002

I accidentally chose the void sword with my Titan when I had already picked the void sword with my Warlock. So now I am am stuck with two void swords and will never be able to obtain the solar sword being I picked the arc sword for my Hunter. I really don't want to delete my Titan and lose all of my progress I have worked hard for just because I cannot redo a quest on a guardian. Bungie please help.

5 RepliesI accidentally dismantled my sword. I do not have a lot of time to dedicate to video games these days and my Titan is my only character. Not being able to get my sword back is literally going to stop me from playing this game again. I recognize that this is my fault but it is clearly obvious that many people have made the same mistake. Please fix!

All are fully leveled but only my Titan and hunter have the exotic bounties. I can't get one for my warlock. PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE!!! There was no warning to tell us not to do this so please fix it!!! Edit: I have 3 swords, one of each, solar, void and arc.

1 ReplyYeah I had another sword in my inventory (not equipped), when I went to get the final sword, a Solar for my Titan it just skipped the offering & went straight to honing the blade. No solar sword for me. Forever stuck with two swords : (

Allow players to buy (with real money through microtransactions) an item that makes their character level 40, then buy (through microtransactions) each subclass leveled up fully. Take out the microtransactions and I might be okay with it. What do you guys think?
