How Was Crota Born And Who Is His Mother?
My friends and I have been thinking about this for a little while, it comes up in conversations here and there. It may sound weird but I guess everyone would want to know. Give your thoughts as to how crota was born and who is his mother?
EDIT 1:According to some people oryx is the mother then who is the father? If you think oryx is otherwise then...yeah.

Read whole thing plz if u want to know everything:-) So Oryx is a male as I'm 99.9 precent sure almost everyone in game says he is male also his male posture and etc. so who is Croats mom, well omnigul protected his soul before he was resurected and she led the hive to raise his souls so I think she is his mom but I have another theory... Crota was a knight, not a normal night, he was special, he wasn't like the others, now he wasn't a hollowed night nor was he a giant knight like the darkblade or anything, but oryx saw him, when oryx came one day to take a lot of hive for his taken army Crota was one of the ones to stand up to him, Crota had killed many of Gaurdians hundreds, maybe thousands even oryx had heard of him. So when oryx saw Crota, running at him at the front lines of the hive oryx was scared. And oryx admired it, he saw Crota and was genuinly scared. So when he took all the hive in Croats army the only one standing was Crota, so instead of turning him into a taken he adopted him and trained him, after centuries Crota was ready to leave the dread naught. So oryx let him go back to the moon and take back over his army so Crota went back to the moon he got a ton of hive and then took over the moon. So when Eris went to the pit he defeated her easily. So when we defeated Crota oryx got insanely pissed. So why didn't oryx come straight to earth? well oryx was so mad that he brought his whole fleet and for that many ships u need a ton of fuel. So he was only able to make it to Saturn. That is the end of this giant paragraph:-)

If you think about it, Oryx was once female before choosing the king morph. So the question is, Did Oryx's female form, before morphing, give birth to Crota? And who was the father?

I mean you are assuming that a hi e god reproduces the same way a mortal human would. For all we know, Crota was born from the essence of his father, willed into existence by the dark god himself.

A son unworthy of being an heir, if they have siblings, are sisters. The king is not a male, not a female, simply a rank. So a oryx is both the father and the mother.
