Want to keep your 310 black spindle?
Follow these step.
(Not sure if it'll actually work but its what im going to try)
1. Get black spindle 310
2. Get a legendary gun around 300
3. Infuse it with black spindle to get it around that light level of 310
4. Wait out the nerf
5. Get the 300 black you purchased
6. Infuse legendary 310 item onto black spindle and BOOM you have it back
Enjoy thought this might help.you out if you didn't think about it.
Edit: even though the 300 version going down to 280 you can still do this it'll just take longer
Edit: Ok this new method is a guaranteed 310 but its ganna cost you some 303 guns and you need a raid special.
1. Try to get a 303 gun from the raid and infuse the 310 black spindle into it.
2. Buy a 300 spindle from the blueprint. (If it gets reseted to 280 after nerf try to get it to 300)
3. Infuse your infused gun into your 300 or 303 spindle and enjoy it at 310. I know this seems simple but some people dont recognize this method so i thought i'll just try to help em out. Like i said you need to beat the raid or atleast get a 303 special

13 Repliesyou will not get 310 that way. the highest I think you can get right now through infusion is 308. and the new attack rating for the spindle is going to be 290. not 280. they said 20 points lower.

I think they meant the exotic blueprint should have been 20 light lower, not the one you obtain. So imo they will change the exotic blueprint from 300 to 280 like every other gun in there.

Your doing this Wrong. First off, you Can't use the 310 spindle unless you burn a raid weapon. I didn't want to but you can. Just use a 303 or higher and that 310 Should make it 310. Then make a couple 300 legendary weapons 300 using bought 300 black spindles. Street after nerf. Use those to make new 300 black spindle. Then use Another raid weapon. To get it above 300 Then use that 310 legend raid weapon. Or do what i did. Make Another legendary sniper 300 and infuse B.S.

10 RepliesNo All the black spindle we'll be met to the attack level ( even if you infuse it ) Post only said legends that got infused So even if you infuse a legend into the 300 black spindle it well still be nerfed It was supposed to drop at 290 and can get it from the blueprints at 280 like the other exotics weapons

15 RepliesOr you could just buy a 300 black spindle from the kiosk and infuse your 310 with it to make it 307. it might not be 310 but it's pretty damn close. That's what i did.

4 RepliesBlack swindle is not even good my opinion they changed it to the ammo comes right out of the reserve. Most bosses in the strikes and Kings Fall have small or hard to hit crit spots. Only exception is Gorgoth but with just regular snipers he still really easy to beat.

I think there will be a lot of people with 287-290 Black Spindles out there after the fix. I'll be sitting pretty with my 310 Stillpiercer. Edit: Nevermind, I see you accounted for this. Still, I think the better way is to get a favorite legendary to 310. Costs less guns.

4 RepliesYou think bungie is tracking what u infused? Bungie won't look to see, they will just blanket nerf it. All those steps to make it 310 when it's already 310. Bungie will either mass nerf all them or Just fix new drops and blueprints.

Already did that, But my legendary did not go to 310, it went to 308. Whatever I'll take it.

1 ReplyYes. I was indifferent and don't care about the small gap. This process is still up for whether it will work or not. I think it will but can't be sure. I just infused my 1000 yard up instead.
