1021 people think Spindle should stay at 310 or at least 300
Explain why?
Edit 1: as of 11:11 am EST the number has risen to around 1,500 signs.
The comment is on Deej's post about the Black Spindle
Edit 2: as of 1:50 PM EST, there are 1,800+ signs
It seems the vast majority of the community want it to stay at 310 or 300 at the least
Edit 3: As of 5:00 PM EST there are 2,000 signatures, 2,000 people want the spindle to stay
Poll results:
About 50% want it to stay 310
About 25% think It should be at least 300
About 25% think it should be nerfed down to 290

As of 10:30 PM EST, 2,100+ people believe Spindle should stay as is.
Now let me preface this by saying, I am looking at this from a neutral standpoint, I have no bias. I couldn't care about what happened to Spindle, the point of this poll is to see what the community thinks.
This brings me to my next point.
Everyone saying, "millions log in daily, 2,000 is nothing"
However only a [u]small[/u] portion goes on the forum.
And I don't care what number you throw at the people, it doesn't make 2,000 people any less significant of a number.
The point of this is just see [u][b]Why[/b][/u] Spindle should or shouldn't be nerfed.

I think the happy medium for THEIR mistake would have been 300. I get the whole infusing argument, but they could made it so that weapon, and that weapon only, couldn't be infused.

The weapon was never intended to be 310, the only things that you get at 310 are the exotic swords & touch of malice which you actually have to engage in quests to actually earn instead of just one mission. Class specific exotics like ace of spades & tlaloc come at 280 & no one complains about that.

There's no way you should be awarded a max attack weapon that you can get in 10 minutes or less.

I fed my 310 black spindle to my telesto and now my telesto 308 and then I bought a new black spindle at 300. bungie can't take away my telesto lol

1 ReplyWell I mean why TF would people want it nerfed below 300? Of course everyone wants a 300 attack special weapon they could just buy for 2500 glimmer and an exotic shard only for the purpose of infusing their weaker legendaries and new exotics up to 300 attack. That's why I personally would want it to stay 300 attack but they will most likely do it like the rest of the exotics and put it to 280. Let's be realistic. Every other weapon in the kiosk is 280 attack, they WANT you to grind for higher attack weapons to infuse it with. They probably don't like that we can get something so effortlessly from a kiosk and infuse any special weapon up to 300 attack. If I were any of you I'd buy a few of them now before it gets nerfed and just store them away until you need it for infusion.

From what I see, the fight is worth the 310. I haven't done it as to not being at home. Maybe my mind will change after doing it and decides it's only worth 300 light drop.

I understand we worked for it and everything but even a copy at the weapon blueprint is 300 it was clearly not intended to be 310 all you have to do is have stuff ready for the drop so you can reinfuse it to 310 and say gg bungie

The drop should be 310, but the blueprint version should be 280.
